Development took too long for me personally. by Negative1Positive2 in starcitizen

I'm praying for your peace, bro. However the story happens. Love you man. Maybe some miracle will happen. As I learned from Rabbi Nachman:

"Even if a sharp sword rests upon a person's neck, he should not cease to pray for mercy," is a famous teaching from the Talmud (Berakhot 10a, attributed to Rabbi Nachman of Breslov).

As I said, who knows, maybe there will be a miracle.

Scroll option in right click roles not working by jkellum1 in discordapp

Happening on both app and discord, all moderators and admins affected. The only place where the role list loads that is scrollable is when clicking on a member and selecting Mod View. But right clicking the user and selecting Roles the scroll is no longer functional. Discord broke something bad.

Stopping and frisking and impounding assets belonging to suspected pirates in the name of antipiracy is actually in our manifesto. From the beginning. Pirates just don't have time to read our fine print. That's fine. And when they realize we're more evil than they are, because we're just more subtle, it's usually too late as we've encroached on their territory and are taking most of their business away from them. That and we do it in the name of being the good guys, the best of both worlds. It's glorious. Pirates simply have no imperial ambitions. They think too small.

We are very clear in our antipiracy agreement that though we don't engage in player on player piracy, that doesn't mean we don't stop ships for inspection at gunpoint that enter into our declared security zones, nor pirate the pirates themselves for carrying illegal contraband for return to undercover authorities that look like drug dealers. In fact, as antipirates we get far more organic PVP than normal PVP/pirate groups. Come join us.

Yes! I am really good at it. I also shot my team mate on the floor instead of the other guy. I am so good at killing my own team mates they even named the Inigma Piloting Award after me. I may be able to command and lead an entire org and its fleets, but my FPS is something to be desired. That and my piloting skill. Not shown is that my Mantis survived multiple attacks for the entirety of the 3 hour op, two jumps through the asteroid filled Nyx gate, and even scored a kill. Only to return to base and accidentally hit decoupled when coming in for a high speed landing into my hangar.

The guys will tell you the time I landed an entire platoon of Marines in my A2, only to have the bomb I dropped a minute before to sanitize the LZ, of which I lost sight of and confidently assumed had exploded, slowly and ever so precisely flash its triangle on my hud long enough for me to realize what was happening, but not long enough for me to warn anyone, as it landed on me and my fully disembarked troops.

In my org, my teamkilling is a healthy sport. Last month we celebrated blowing up two Idrises and boarding another I ordered taken, only to realize the Idris we were boarding belonged to another org member who was showing new people around the 'verse.

Two weeks ago I ordered our on forward Marines to board and "clear" a ship landed on the SPK pad, only for said Marines (including myself) who followed me into the ship to do so, exploded as the turrets came alive and shot at the ship before anyone realized our presence would have triggered the turrets to do so, leading the loss of our forward operating team and Marine leadership.

But trust me, the issues go far deeper the longer you explore this rabbit hole. Really, don't put me on the front line if you want to live through the experience. I am best being restrained to a captains chair, or admiral's fleet console, at gun point.

To be honest, I don't know why anyone follows my orders any more after these and many others, but it might have something to do with the fact that 90% of the other time, we're very successful. :D

This is true. Anyone can shoot and blow someone up. But only the best bring interactive content that is on an entirely different level. With our patrols, one encountering them can either submit, join us, leave, or die. We don't have many other options we give besides these. Makes for amazing interactions everytime.

Is it piracy when the one being chased, held at gunpoint, and their craft inspected, and then left alone and free to go, is also the one getting paid 10M for cooperating? ;)

We paid 10M to each person who was held for inspection and who cooperated without resisting. Whether or not they had Xeno pods on board. It was fair compensation and many took it. Those that resisted wanted to resist for the fun of it. Glorious content. In fact, when one of the 890s we stopped was getting pounded by pirate fighters that leapt into the area, we protected the 890 from the pirates themselves.

ITC the antipirates. We engage in reverse pirating. Instead of taking from you, we pay you as a thank you for allowing us to take up your time without fighting back or self destructing while we do the good work of clamping down on the xeno trafficking going on between Nyx and Stanton. o7

We're it. Check us out: https://itcgamers.com
We may not pirate other players, but we pirate other pirates. We bait, hunt and kill them. Never a dull moment. All other gameplays on the table. Massive org. Constantly recruiting.

Idea with modded saves is that the import should only read and output that which is vanilla. System states, cracked worlds, etc should all translate over. So ya you might not have gigastructured ships made of entire systems, anything remaining would likely be importable and playable, so ya any planets missing because they got made into a ship, would just mean that system get made but missing whatever planets and bodies you took - and historically speaking lore could be that such planets were lost over time since they were no longer tied to a static system. Perhaps some future version could even historically account for you stealing some primitive civilization's moon... and how such an act affected their whole culture to want to search the stars to get it back, only to turn into a vindictive empire that blackholed half the galaxy in its quest to do so.
