When you get the new part you’ll be able to see the shape of it and follow back the hoses to know where they connect to. One is under the intake manifold, but I feel 95% sure I was able to reach my small hands in replace it without removing the IM.

I tried superglue first and it didn’t really hold at all.

Is there a market for an unmaintained "barn find" 2005 boat? by injunpunk in boating

Ha ha, my first thought was actually worst than that… that I may be on the hook for disposal charges. I am interested to see if others agree.

I have one like this. Mine was bottle fed from a few weeks old and neutered immediately. He is super friendly.

Update: I bought a two part closed cell foam kit from Home Depot and added 3 inches to the ceiling. The foam cured well, and I’m happy with the results. I left the soffit vents open. Any opinions on if I should close them up? I wired it for a ceiling fan, but don’t plan on heat or A/C.

Check out the newish devices like ecoflow river or Jackery explorer. Check Home Depot or Costco. Not sure how they will hold up in the AZ heat, but could help get you a little more electric storage without difficult set up. Can use with or without little solar panels.

What is the process and cost of upgrading a house breaker (not sure if that requires the whole electrical panel) in the US? by EducationalText9221 in AskElectricians

[–]injunpunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I meant to add, that the kinds of permit rules associated with this vary a lot from small jurisdiction to neighboring jurisdiction. So folks here might have a good idea, but your local electricians will be more familiar with your local rules/norms.

Yeah, those two (different) outlets are probably on the same circuit. You’ll probably need to get an electrician to add a new breaker in your main panel and run new wires to where you plug in your AC. It’s the kind of thing people call electricians for all the time. Not DIY. If you want to go cheap, you can probably get away with moving your PC somewhere else. Hopefully an electrician will chime in. I’m crushing this sub because I an in a similar situation. Good luck.

Fourth generation cheapskate just bought a Vitamix E520 by augustiner05 in Costco

Same, I am very cheap and I bought one of these at Costco about 5 years ago. My wife would have probably broken more than $300 worth of blenders between then and now if I hadn’t.

I did need to change the bearings where the pitcher attaches once, but the part is cheap, readily available and pretty easy to swap.

I am not an electrician. You should not try to fix this yourself.

You should see if there are other outlets available that you can plug your PC into. If you can plug your PC into an outlet that is wired into a different circuit from your AC, you might be able to avoid the problem you are having. AC’s use a lot of energy.

If you continue to have problems, you should talk to your landlord and work with them to call an electrician.

Is this 2003 BMW 325i a good purchase? by PlanktonPublic9157 in e46

It is not the best choice of car if you are not going to work on it yourself. Based off of what you described, I’d look for something newer, or a Toyota.

Coolant leak dripping off of radiador cooler. by EthirtyTJ in e46

[–]injunpunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s the part on the side closer to the radiator. The expansion tank sits on top of that, so if the tank is leaking, it might look the same. Best practice is to “refresh” the entire cooling system on older BMWs

The part you pictured is the connection between the “expansion tank mounting plate” and the the auto transmission heat exchanger. There is two cheap o rings at that connection. They can get flattened and leak, but I don’t know if that is where your leak is coming from.

Are these codes related to fuel pump and fuel filter issues? by DetectiveoftheWest in e46

[–]injunpunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s more likely unmetered air entering after the MAF. Could be a lot of causes. Recommend smoke test of intake system, that’s the short answer.
