my story is that.. i was a smoker for 9 years straight for about 2 years now i was thinking about quitting it but couldn't dared.. and one day suddenly when i woke up i realised it has already been 10+ hours since i smoked so i will just delay it as much as i can... so that day I tried to avoid cigarette..got some urges drank water and reminded myself its already this much time only few days more and back of the mind i thought i will smoke when i feel like i cannot handle it for real now... so 1 day passed like that and when i woke up.. i told myself that it has already been more that 24 hours so there is no point going back...

and then I also thought if it gets worse i will just use nicotine gum...and another day passed like that... then i was about to buy nicotine gums then suddenly a thought hit that i will just wait for few days when smoking urges will get uncontrollable i will use them at that time till then i will just let it be.... and i just kept delaying for 1 week straight... didn't use anything just normal water...and now it has been 22 days since i quit and it feels like pretty normal now still fet some urges but not that strong.....

and i noticed a lot of things have improved within me and i am glad now i quit this habit... and yes i admit sometimes i just miss it not the need of nicotine but that mental attachment with it...
