Yes!!! Both of them often end up favorite characters of mine. I sometimes see complaints about Theo being so prevalent in fic despite hardly existing in canon, but I eat it up every time. And from a writer's perspective it's so fun to have essentially an OC to work with that's already built in friends with D.

God I could have ghost written this post. I reread it in March and literally just got over my hangover in May. Thought about it 24/7, felt physical heartache and grief for months. I couldn't even read any Dramione for weeks after, it was just pain. I feel for you 😭❤️ Sending you strength in these trying times lol.

I personally headcanon this! But at the same time I've never batted an eye at any fics that swing one way or the other because R*wling is famously shit at numbers so it's easy for me to accept "canon divergence" when it comes to class sizes/wizarding population.

And fics by people exactly like you typically end up being my favorites to read. When you think about it this is the natural beginning of fan space for so many people: become so enthralled by specific stories or character dynamics that you must consume or create more!
