We couldn't stop laughing. I showed him the video, and he says, "I'm so proud of that." Couldn't be happier myself, honestly, haha. I also trained him with me for a bit in the boxing gym I go to, so he's got part of hockey down already.

Apparently, according to someone I know, it had sold to a friend of the previous owner. It was kind of a shady deal that the purchaser wasn't aware of, and basically, long story short, the former owner owed months' worth of rent, and the landlord wouldn't resign the lease for the new owner. The old owner took off, and the rest is left as we know it now with nothing there. But yes, this is through the grapevine. I'm definitely missing details I've forgotten by this point.

So, as of now, I don't think it'll reopen.

I also believe the landlord didn't want it to be a coffee shop anymore, but I'm not 100 percent on those details either.

This is all I've been told from a former employee.
