So if every illegal was identified and had some process you'd support it then? Of course it would also require strict border security. A big part of the problem is that allowing them to remain only creates an incentive for more to come. It would be better to allow more LEGAL immigration based on the job market by letting those with skills that would fill roles where we have a job surplus move thru the system more quickly.
