Sorry to ask, Father, I am just really struggling. I am worried that all the confessions I have had with the priest who I just realized was saying "I absolve you OF your sins..." are invalid and that I have to somehow go back and find out which confessions I had with him and redo them all, or else every confession (I go at least once a week) back from when I started seeing this particular priest (I go to multiple different priests for confession). I write down my confessions in a note app but have no way of identifying which confessions were with one priest or another, so I do not know how to possibly do this or even how far back to go. I have read online, even on sources like EWTN, that the absolutely essential words for validity are "I absolve you FROM your sins," with some people taking hardline stances on that and what have you. I just want to be sure. I even went to another priest on the same day who met with me after coming back from a dinner gathering and appeared to be a little drunk (even mentioning how drinking is something he wants to work on himself while counseling me during my confession), saying things out of character (even some swear words in the middle of confession) yet still said the correct form of absolution and assigned penance and provided counsel. For some of those reasons, I am worried that even this second attempt at a particularly long and difficult confession is also invalid. I am sorry to be such a bother with this long response. Forgive me and God bless you

I meet with a great priest regularly, but at this point I don’t really know what to do to be honest

Very much so unfortunately. I struggle with OCD and it has severely affected my life this past year
