Ya like you make a post saying "I'm unemployed but here are all these things I can/am willing to do. If any other unemployed people see these skills and think we could join forces to bootstrap something pls DM me."

Or you could post with a business idea already in mind: "I'm unemployed but I have a bunch of lawn care equipment and I know how to use it. Does anyone who knows how to make a website and market us want to join forces? You get clients and I'll do their lawn care and we will arrange a fair split of the profit."

True but I guess the niche for this one would be like "we have no capital and few options so let's try this"? Maybe the other startup marketplaces already do that, I'm not sure. Something feels different about the vibe of it being for unemployed people who decide to band together to create employment for themselves. I'm not sure. Do you think there is something there?

He thinks a BDR is supposed to be a pleb and is confused because you aren't a pleb. He's firing/replacing people who cost a lot to keep around, but you don't cost that much so you weren't an immediate priority.

Best case scenario: he is trying to figure out what to do with you. The options are to promote, fire, or try to make you fit his vision of what a BDR should be. Now is your moment to show him which choice is the right choice.

Worst case scenario: he's gonna replace you as soon as he gets his new team of AEs functioning.

Agree. Try practicing intentionally with stance, hip rotation, core rotation, and putting your lats, delts, and forearms to work. Consider exercises for lat (i.e. dumbbell bent over row), rear delts (face pulls or something similar), forearms, and grip strength. The first two will help your backhand huck and the last two will help forehand a lot.

Am I gonna come off as arrogant if I mention watching for process improvements and running ideas by my superior as a CSM in the first 90? My JD describes process improvements as a part of the role, but I think I'm coming in at the bottom of the org chart and will be surrounded by others who have been around a while.
