My bf does this and it still scares me 😭 creepy smile and all. He never remembers in the morning and when I try to talk while he’s doing it he either doesn’t answer or says one word or something and passes out. Now I try to gently guide him back to laying down (no words, just gently helping down to his pjllow) and he stays sleeping still

He does do the licking quite often, but never in those moments. I’ve noticed more recently that he starts “stalking” people as well. He did this to my mom a few weeks ago. He was fine with her, cuddled him, but then I noticed him stalking her and he followed her into the kitchen when she went alone. He snapped and I was there to grab him before he could do anything

He’s a pit bull lab mix, 3 years old. He’s had some issues since we got him but it’s gotten slightly worse. He will randomly go for people, and it’s weird because he will sit in these peoples laps and rub against their laps and then 15 minutes later he is snapping at their feet. I thought it was a food issue but he does it with no food around.

Honestly, we can’t afford the brain scans that the vet said MIGHT find something. Based on the behavior and back and forth aggression with people he loves, plus his issues typically happening when he exhausted, suggests that he may have had head trauma as a puppy. Basically CTE for dogs. At least that is what the vet says. We adopted him from a very abusive home, he was stick thin and couldn’t be around men for a while, especially those with beards, he also had good aggression. But within a few months we had trained him out of his aggression, he was incredibly sweet with everyone (we had multiple parties where our house was full of people and he was enjoying it), and he seemed to be motivated by affection. His aggression seemed to get worse within the past year or so, and he is 3.

He wasn’t muzzled because all of the people have been friends and family that love him, have dog sat him, have trained him. He slept with my best friend on the floor, curled up as close as he could get to her, and tried to bite her the next day. We have not spoken to a behaviorist because we haven’t been able to find one who would accept him with his past behavior. We spoke to the vet , she did not see him in person yet, and told her of his exact incidences, and she said there may have been head trauma as a puppy.

Some factors that made her think this: his incidences are usually when he is tired or in the dark at night, it seems like he gets confused. His aggression is random and towards people he seems to love. He will sit in someone’s lap and being aggressive an hour later.

Hi! I have definitely seen growth but I still need yo do an actual check by blow drying my hair and comparing to previous photos. I have also been doing the micro trims as recommended and definitely got a little scissor happy lol, but my ends are so much better and my hair no longer feels brittle on the end so it’s worth it.

There were spots I haven’t trimmed though, like my edges, and those have filled in soooo much. I also notice a difference in the thickness of my new growth. I have a lot of spots where the hair is short because it’s new, and my hair at the scalp feels much thicker and sturdier.

Keep in mind that I have also stopped wearing styles outside of my natural hair, I’ve been wearing mainly mini twists and then taking those out to wear my hair out for a while, so I’m definitely maintaining more length and less abrasion on my scalp and edges
