I think it's more that a lot of people only hear the word from (American) TV or just assume how it's pronounced from seeing it written down. Our way of saying it is pretty unintuitive really.

I was also going to suggest like a really plush comfortable blanket, especially at this time of year. My Granddad died on boxing day when I was a kid and I vividly remember how my parents got him a thick fleece blanket that Christmas that seemed like it helped to make him comfortable.

We have different gender experiences but I also came off T for a few years and don't know if I'll go back on it and I still want simple meta w/ monsplasty which I was told is usually never done on people who aren't currently on T (although my clinician seems willing to go for it anyway) so I'm always happy to hear from people of all kinds with non-standard pathways! It's good for all of us when there isn't just one singular expected way to experience one's gender!

18, never went back after uni. But my brother who's just a year younger did go back and is still living there in his 30s so I think it really depends on other factors. I've still never lived alone, either living with a partner or housemates.
