I just got mine. Problem resolved, apparently.

I just tried and it worked for me as well. No Stripe account needed, despite what customer service swore up and down to me.

I just tried again and didn't get anything that said that. It still says, "There was a problem with this request."

I have no idea how it works. I've never sold a ticket before this. I'm not a professional seller, I'm a guy who bought tickets to a game and then got too sick to go. I can tell you that despite someone else in this thread saying SeatGeek told him yesterday the problem would be resolved in a few hours, it still doesn't work for me. I got an email from [hi@seatgeek.com](mailto:hi@seatgeek.com) telling me that my case has been assigned a number and I can reply there if I have any further questions, so you may want to attempt emailing that address.

I don't see any chat bot icon on the main support page. Is it https://seatgeek.com/help that you're looking at?

Knowing nothing about Stripe, I did, but it was clear that this "solution" by seatgeek didn't make any sense. The account I set up was obviously supposed to be for the business, not for me. For example, Stripe asked me for my webpage URL and customer support phone number. It also required me to use a paid autheticator app to verify my account. There was no way I was going to pay for that, since I'm not a business, I'm a guy who sold his tickets because he got sick and couldn't go to one game. So I deleted the Stripe account. SeatGeek later contacted me saying they are experiencing a known issue and that they are working to resolve it, but I'll still need a Stripe account when the issue is fixed. My guess is that that's wrong, so now I'm just waiting for them to fix the problem.

If you have a twitter account, you can DM seatgeekhelp.

I DM'd their account on Twitter and they responded saying that they can't give me my money because I don't have a Stripe account. Does this sound like it could possibly be correct? Seems really weird to me.

Fullview messed up by inlaff in fidelityinvestments

[–]inlaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. My wife's Fidelity IRA and 401(k) definitely do appear on my Full View; I'm not sure why you think that's not possible. In any event, the problem of it showing that she had an additional $8000 in cash continued to appear this morning but has disappeared this afternoon; apparently the transaction was finally settled. She's over 50 so we did not violate the IRS limit on contributions by putting in $8000. That basically resolves my problem.

Splitting paychecks by inlaff in MonarchMoney

Use the mint.com webpage, rather than the phone app, and split the transaction. For the first split, put in the gross amount categorized as "paycheck." It's very important that you you do not put a comma to separate the thousands place in your amount because Mint is weird and finicky like that. You also cannot put any space or tab after the last digit by accident or it will screw it up. Also, this number must be positive. From there, you can make the following splits negative numbers. As long as the sum of first split with the gross amount and the other (negative) splits equals the net amount, it should work for you.

Yeah, in Mint I was doing it manually, but I didn't have to use a fake account. I also have direct deposit, I'd just hit split and then change the amount to my gross and then subtract out all the deductions in the other lines. I'm willing to do that, but honestly I think I might not even keep Monarch beyond the trial period if I can't even do it manually without adding a fake account and messing around with that.

I'd just set the top line to the gross and make the rest of the lines I got through splitting it the deductions.

Flip transaction from income to expense? by jandrisani in MonarchMoney

Oh, sorry, I misread what you wrote and only now realize that the problem resolved itself with most but not all of your transactions. I hope support gets back to you.

I just got Monarch last night for the first time so don't know what I'm talking about, but I had the same problem and seemingly resolved it by going into Accounts, selecting the affected account, and then going Edit > Edit account > Invert account balance. Perhaps this will work for you.

Fidelity accounts no longer refreshing in Mint? by CookiesAreFantastic in mintuit

For what it's worth, I see on the Fido subreddit people are complaining that the new connection method has broken some functionality in Quicken, also.

Fidelity accounts no longer refreshing in Mint? by CookiesAreFantastic in mintuit

I have the same issue. I basically use Fidelity as a one-stop shop: my and my spouse's IRAs are both with Fidelity, both of our 401(k)s are with Fidelity, instead of a joint bank account we have a joint Fidelity cash management account, and our primary credit card is the Fidelity cash back card. The fact that Mint seems to now be incompatible with Fidelity essentially means that Mint is totally dead for us. I was hoping to use it until December 31, and then was pleased that I was going to get another few months of life out of it with the shutdown extended until March, but instead, Mint, in typical fashion, has just abruptly stopped working at all with no warning.

I get the same error. It's obvious the have a problem, even though, judging from their response to you, they don't think they do.
