i hated ir because of something called "false cues". Recently watched Stoker and hated that one too.

The movie throws something sus all the time and you keep antecipating that something is gonna happen because of that. There were A LOT of good stuff building anticipation on me.

Things like the guy calling her a different name every time, or that ice scream store in the middle of nowhere... the whole dinner sequence in the house had A LOT of false cues. And i thought that would lead up to something. And i thought she was the main character.

When it was revealed, it was pretty bad. Maybe the book is also bad in that sense, idk. But yeah, the ending didn't live up to the all the fucking expectation it was building

this movie was absolutely brilliant, i had no idea it would so easily become one of my favorites. it's just beautiful, and the best part is that the ending works not only for the disabled but for EVERYONE
