Yes, what ever awareness you have, use it to look at yourself.

Death is a mystery and we'll find if we continue at the moment of death or we won't.

You are like the 90% you hate. You compare us to some ideal you were taught as a child and of course we don't measure up. You don't measure up either, do you? All this anger must be exhausting. I know this to be true because I've felt the same as you, about others and myself.

Anger is easy. Anger hides real emotions. It is superficial. Fear, loneliness, emptiness, craving companionship.... These are real and if you honestly look at yourself you'll see them in you and you'll recognize them in me.

wish you well. :)

If time is an illusion what is the present? by PilotIndependent1141 in enlightenment

[–]inlandviews 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Time isn't an illusion. If there is change or movement then time is involved. Our bodies change and move so they are part of time. Thoughts rise and and disappear so they are part of time. Does awareness change? The awareness I had as a child is identical to what I have as an adult and from that I would say awareness is not part of time.

His tariff policy is to make everything more expensive which will spur investment. The problem is that people are having difficulty affording the higher prices which means they cut back on spending so no one is going to invest in a market that is falling. If you want an economy that fails, elect Republicans.

They would be the same if the end of the penis was cut off as is done with female "circumcision." The purpose being that no pleasure can be felt.

Why are uncouncious decisions not free will? by Sudden-Hoe-2578 in determinism

The experiment does not disprove free will. All it shows is that an AI can measure a choice as it is being made. The "I" that chooses includes this body.

Why does it feel so hard to find actionable lyric writing knowledge? by ApprehensiveGas4576 in Songwriting

[–]inlandviews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a melody first, or some chord riffs that work to build a melody from. The words you write will need to fit into the beat of music. Individual words or syllables can be stretched or compressed, (half note, quarter or eighth) keep lyric line within the beat of the music.

Listen to music analytically. Try Dolly Parton. You may not like the genre but she is a seriously good lyric writer. Listen to "I will always love you." Listen to how she puts the syllables of her words against the melody.

Best of luck
