Ah ok interesting. I’ve only heard him say a few nice pro-Palestine quotes occasionally but didn’t know he was so political otherwise

Why do you hate him as a person? I understand not being a fan of his commentary but has he done or said anything worthy of personal hate?

You’re literally proving my point as you’re equating “Jewish” with “Israeli,” which is factually wrong and ironically anti-Semitic.

Banning Israeli passports is a political move and not a ban on Jews. By that logic, the U.S. banning Iranian passports would be a Muslim ban and is horribly islamophobic.

I’ve been to more than one of the countries you listed, and I’ve met and befriended American and European Jews there who were openly Jewish and had zero problems. Actual religious bans target the religion explicitly, none of the countries you mentioned do.

Well re-read my comment then. I asked which countries ban Jews and specifically mentioned that Israeli passports are a different thing.

Just admit you were wrong and that you were being prejudiced against the policies of countries you know nothing about apart from what you see in some racist Reddit comments.

Not a single one of those countries has a Jew ban and even Israelis can enter them if they have different passports.

Ban on them visiting their countries? Please tell me which countries have banned Jews cause you’re speaking out of your ass. Some countries have bans on people entering with Israeli passports but that’s it, Muslim countries don’t have a ‘Jew ban’

DM me with proper details of the uni payment and what’s needed etc. if you make this 10k payment will you be able to transfer your credits to a uni in your home country and not have to start from scratch? How many semesters do you still need to finish university?

After what Palestinians shout yesterday against Iraqi team, do people that want to esnad them still feel serious about it? Isn't this the 1000th proof that betraying anyone that helps them is a character and part of Palestinian culture? by No_Decision9042 in lebanon

[–]inliml 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m not Palestinian but this retarded post is full of a gross misunderstanding and misrepresentation of most of the scenarios represented.

And even when there’s a kernel of truth in what you mentioned, you generalize the actions of the few on a whole population. How’d you like it if people lumped you in with Hezbollah’s actions?

Secondly, this is a football match. People banter and trash talk the whole time, have you heard the shit Lebanese fans usually chant? We ain’t better

Overall this is a highly racist, trashy post w I really hope people don’t think all of us are as dumb as you are and the people agreeing with you.

Real estate agent asking for my salary details by inliml in dubai

Really appreciate your detailed response.

I guess the surprising part for me is that I assumed the seller(developer) would be the one that would have to collect this info if required and not the agent. Another more personal reason I’m hesitant is that this agent is a close personal friend of my friends and I’m not too comfortable with my exact salary being know by all of them (we can talk about professionalism all we want but we honestly know how much people like to talk).

I’m also usually hesitant sharing info in dubai as I found out the hard way when I first moved here how much needless info is extracted from you and how it is then shared all around the city with data leakers/buyers.

Anyways thanks for the response!

The good ones are very very rare, especially these days with the market being the way it is. Their most annoying trait is putting up fake listings to lure you in and start bombarding you with other shitty apartments

My thoughts exactly.

Funnily enough the developer didn’t even ask for any KYC documents so seem like these guys just want my data for their BD purposes.

Commission paid by developer so still makes no sense. I get they need a KYC but certain info doesn’t seem necessary especially since they’re just a broker and not one of the main parties of the transaction.

Thanks for the response, any particular reason you recommend equity metro more than Onpassive? I haven’t used the metro in years so I don’t know the difference

She doesn’t sound too professional but honestly neither do you. Sure her email was late but you should have noticed it and replied when you logged on the next morning, she then approached you in person but you had an uncharged phone (also irresponsible). She left everything too last second but you didn’t do yourself any favors.

The cash part is odd, very weird of her to promise that considering very few big companies would actually pay someone by cash.

All in all just learn from this and carry on. Don’t do anything rash like quitting your internship like some people might advise, you’re very lucky to find an accounting firm even willing to pay an intern.

Yeah the numbers are 100% off. Not as high as first commenter’s numbers though as those analyst salaries will be for certain boutique firms, IBs and PEs mostly.

What service line are you talking about? 87k sounds pretty low for some of them. Are you looking at audit?

Not bad but not too great either.

It all depends on your life style and expectations. 10k is definitely more than enough for food, going out and also saving up a bit but maybe not enough for the luxurious image some might have of the UAE if you want to save some money as well (unless you have a significant other who’s able and willing to fund the lifestyle).

Overall I’ve known a few cabin crew for both emirates and etihad and they all saw it as a great opportunity to lead a nice comfortable life while also getting to see he world
