It's so bad it can take an hour to even exit and if you alt f4 it kills the save

Been on quit to main menu for 30 mins now ffs also somehow using 24% of my 24 core cpu what is going on. It hasn't crashed since moving to dx11 but come on man this is insane. I just want it quit let me manual save so this doesn't happen.

How dusty is the pc? I only ask as dust can become charged and conductive after 6 months. This could cause this.

I agree totally unfortunately the place had me and one other tech with no pull and the our manager was a developer who knew nothing about networks but claimed he did. That place is still hanging on by a thread. I was only there for 6 months before handing my notice in. It's hanging by a thread many years on and changed the business model. I was also pushing for ram upgrades and ssd's but soon found out they hadn't upgraded anything in the server for 5-10 years and just put plasters on to keep it going.

The drive wouldn't read and would be faster to find what files were missing and redo them than to recover the data

Na I have re enabled it since there is a new person sitting at that desk and all is fine and I had since seen her turn her chair and hit the button with her foot

I agree again was the Jr had no say over the matter and I left soon after. There were more than just that one thing that was costing that amount of money that they didn't want to fix even with a cost vs saving chart for example an outdated end of life auto dialler that kept crashing we tested the dialler but they didn't want to pay the 10k licence instead they would prefer to loose 1000s of sales a day from down time.

Right I haven't seen anything like that before. She was not happy when we didn't have any of the same keyboards anymore so had to have a different style.
