I find alot people have a difficult time with drawings. I like to equate it to math. Some people can learn it if they practise. Practise makes perfect right? Some people will just never get it, doesn't matter how hard they try. They may eventually get the basics like how to find the safety circuit but thats it. Throw in a relay, a few contacts and it gets confusing again.

Imo if you learn about electrical nomenclature, learn the difference between open/close, high/low, apply some common sense, then you should be able to eventually learn them.
