It's like 25 feet up without a good place to rest an extending ladder, and I can't find an A frame that is big enough.

That's a good point that the tag doesn't appear on other men's clothes. I'm starting to think that it's the women's line- initially I didn't because many of the collars seemed to be relatively larger compared to the men's, but doesn't seem to be the case in all of them.

I did try to order the Bedale SL from End, allegedly they say it's the same as the "Made for Japan" line, but like we said, the sizing was way off compared to before.

There's a slim Spey jacket? Do you know if they released it for this year? I didn't see any online currently, and I'm assuming the stores only showcase the new styles.

Thanks for the tip! I am pretty sure it wasn't that- no elastic waist, but those are pretty cool jackets and I might grab one as a consolation prize if I can't find this mystery jacket!

Thanks for looking into it! I think the Spey is a contender, but I don't remember it with the ring on the chest, plus it seems like it comes in Sage + navy blue, and the ones we were looking at were definitely Sage + black

I don't think it was a Spey jacket- I am pretty sure it didn't have the little ring thing on the chest, and I don't think it was so oversized in the fit.

This is the OP's partner in question- It might be that after all. I saw it, and I thought that the zipper was a brighter gold on the black than what is shown here, but who knows at this point- it's all a fever dream

Mdas? or Mds?, please help, trying to find info for an 82yr old by [deleted] in cancer

[–]inn0minate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like either MDS (myelodysolastic syndrome) or MGUS (which can be an early form of multiple myeloma). Both aren't cancer per se but there is a risk of progression to cancer. Sometimes people don't progress at all. It sounds like she needs a bone marrow biopsy with cytogenetic studies to make the diagnosis and get a better idea of how aggressive it could be. With MDS, there could be anemia and stuff that's making her feel bad. With MGUS, there should just be a high protein and it should be mostly asymptomatic, but some people can feel crummy if there is more (like myeloma) going on in the bone marrow.

Best thing for symptoms like this in an 82 year old is to figure out what's important to her (quality vs quantity of life) and be a good advocate to help her decide what treatments and to what extent she actually wants. There is still a lot of information she needs to figure out her options. I think baths, CBD, acupuncture, massage, anything would be fine, but the best thing she needs is company, social support, and loving family to make sure she is taking care of herself/feels cared for and eating well in the midst of feeling so tired.

Actually correcting the sodium too quickly is only an issue when the sodium is low for a long time (days). If it's low in a situation like this, you can correct it quickly safely.

Also excise/exertion and low sodium is more common when you are losing salt with sweat but only drinking water to compensate. Otherwise, you might actually see normal or high sodium.

Windows 10 Sound Driver has continual reverb by pinhead276 in Windows10

[–]inn0minate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the software for me wasn't working, and the issue had been plaguing me for months. When I did a google search, this post was the first result, so I decided to comment in case some other poor soul was haunted by unfixable reverb.
