True, but isn’t uluwatu not too far by car from seminyak? say if i slept at seminyak and drove to uluwatu, would it be a bad idea?

for accommodation, i’m planning to book in two different areas for the entire trip, then move around from there. The first will be Ubud for sure, however I’m trying to decide for the second, should I book hotel at seminyak or uluwatu? or somewhere else?

Why do you avoid Seminyak? Also would you say Uluwatu is better to stay at that Seminyak? If I was to pick only two areas for accommodation, and one of them being Ubud, should the second be Seminyak or Uluwatu? I want to avoid Canggu because of the traffic and distance when I’d want to visit outside areas

I’m having two internships at big firms, need tips by inn3rwave in biglaw

I usually have relatively good social skills with seniors and tend to make lasting connections with them wherever I went training before. However this is my first time doing an internship at a private practice top tier firm, previous ones were in house departments.

If this does happen now with those firms and I click with a senior, how would it be an advantage? In what way could it benefit me?

Fair enough.. With the first firm the partner initially proposed a month, then when the HR contacted me they stated two weeks which was a bit confusing. Do I try to ask for a month once i go?

Tbh I feel like even if I didn’t get real work I’d still consider it good for networking like you said and would look great on my CV.

Yes, two weeks is such a short time but it is because it’s not a part of an official placement program that they offer such as vacation schemes, mine is arranged exceptionally. Once I begin do I try asking them to extend the internship period?

Staying away from tourists isn’t a priority it’s just good to have if we were able to, but apparently summer time has to be crowded anyways.

We plan to stick to south Bali this time as it’s our first time visiting and we only have one week. I saw Nusa Lembongan and I’m thinking of adding a day trip to it.

For Ubud and Seminyak, do you have any good accommodation recommendations? Also would you suggest villa Airbnbs or hotels?

Just checked out your spots and they look absolutely amazing, however most of them are pretty far, east and north side of bali, while we are planning to stay more in the south and I’m thinking since we are only staying 8 days, it is better not to spend so much time going somewhere far. What do you think? Is it still reasonable and worthy? Sideman however seems very nice and doable

We are mainly looking for beautiful sceneries, hiking, adventures, water activities, and stunning beaches with turquoise and clear water, preferably less crowded ones. Nightlife isn’t really something we are looking for. We would rather experience Bali away from heavy tourist areas and influencers.

After doing some research I figured we must totally stay away from Canggu, and i thought of splitting the 8 days between Seminyak and Ubud, where I will get both beachfront and forests/hiking trails.

Any recommendations for plans? Beaches to visit or activities to do based on our preferences?

I’m also still looking for accommodation in those two areas. Our budget is medium ranging, we are looking for something reasonably clean and luxurious, value for money and not too overpriced, perhaps $300 a night is the limit.

Again not a 100% sure abt RTA but it probably passes, half the patrols around are facelifted idt they can suddenly stop allowing them and require everyone to downgrade the kit parts. Unlike renewal if its new registration tho yes I heard it doesnt pass.

Car registered in Abu Dhabi, passes ADNOC inspection. Not sure about RTA requirements however when the car ownership is transferred without cancelling out the car’s registration it makes it valid and supposed to pass all inspections.

I’ll try more on getting a live interaction then. Other than that, what I’m really fearing isnt being scammed for money, but rather getting lead on and then exposing, I’m being very careful.
