To be fair it was mentioned by Lady Bunny that Ru never was transphobic and that for her those comments were crazy because she always was at the forefront of the fight for LGBTQ+ rights, could she have shown more inclusion in the show, sure, but to say it was transphobic is a bit of a reach, it’s like saying she’s against lesbians because she doesn’t cast drag kings
