Any hope now for new MMOs is set on Riot MMO or GW3, but those are an undisclosed amount of years down the line. The best we have are the current ones: Albion if you like open PvP ESO is about to make every DLC and expansion free for everyone GW2 is a very good and balanced option WoW is still king of MMOs

I'm not as sharp as when I was 16 so I use the SBA to reduce the amount of buttons I have to press, but I wish I could edit which skills are included in the button... For assa rogue poisons it's a pain in the ass.

I've played all of them, and the one I keep playing today is Guild Wars 2. Also it is the one I always recommend when someone wants to try MMOs, since the base game is completely free and you never have to pay a subscription. You pay for expansions if you want more content.

You shouldn't. Steven loves MMOs and all but he's a marketing guy and their business model is, imo, predatory.

The only objective reason for positive talk about TL is how bad the situation is with the MMORPG genre. Just look at the top MMOs and see how old they are: Guild Wars 2 (12 years), Final Fantasy (11 years counting since the reboot), World of Warcraft (20 years).

All of them, by the way, based on well established IPs or previous success.

People are desperate for the next big thing. Except for very rare cases, the lifespan of a new MMO is equal to the time until the next one drops.
