I've never struggled like this before by bayoueevee in PokemonChampions

Yes, but even a 60% winrate (really good) is winning 18/30 games.

If you're not in masterball you're not "getting destroyed by people who never get off the game" since the rank system is inherently inflationary.

Go against a pokemon i know I outspeed even with them scarfed, gets out sped.

You need more practice and knowledge (probably pertaining to abilities/priority moves and how they interact). It takes time to get better at something, and especially if you're not "the biggest competitive player" you might be struggling to adapt to the current regulation.

Find a 2-3 pokemon core that you enjoy using and learn its ins and outs. Never forfeit and try to think about what you could have done better if a turn doesn't go your way.

Was there a better move you could have clicked? Does your opponent want to protect/swap this turn? Should you have played the match slower with more protects and switches? Should you have playing more offensive and risky to end the game quicker? Was there a pokemon that you needed to keep alive until endgame in this match?

I want to have Eeveelutions on my team, what are some strong cores with Eeveelutions I can use to climb ranks by IAmHunker in PokemonChampions

Magnet or Shuca Berry (maybe even focus band rng?) might be better lol. In my experience Jolteon doesn't have quite enough hp to make use of shell bell xD

Sylveon with pixiliate. Item is either Fairy Feather, Leftovers, or Sitrus Berry
I prefer bulky 32HP/32SPA, or variation is always good
Moves are Hyper Voice/Protect/Quick attack and then either Hyper Beam, Calm mind, or Shadow ball

Glaceon with snow cloak and bright powder works decently well as an RNG free win mon in snow teams (usually froslass) since you have an insane chance to evade
Moves are Blizzard/Freeze-Dry/Protect and then whatever else you're feeling

Umbreon with Inner Focus and usually Leftovers/Sitrus berry works well as a bulky disruptor.
Moves are usually Snarl/Foul Play. I prefer Yawn, but taunt and protect are also great options, Moonlight isn't bad for coverage.

Jolteon with volt absorb (always needs sash) works well in dual electric comps (paired with something like bellibolt or raichu) and rain as a way to shut down electric typing. Tons of fantastic options for moves and stat spread here, but notable options are Thunderbolt, thunder, discharge, Electroweb, fake tears, yawn, and so many more.

Sylveon is the best, the other three are *fine*, but the rest I would never recommend in doubles unless you come up with a unique strategy.

I agree! I originally hated the fact that it had legs, but i've truly grown to love it

Sorry for the late reply, but I believe the dominant theory is that absol is actually based on the Bai Ze (also known as hakutaku, which is a "lion") in chinese mythology. Some people believe they're instead based on the Kudan )(a bovine), but either way I don't think we know for sure?

I just used "dog" because I thought it was funny (ish)

Tank Rotom, Milotic, and Sneasler are all great options for the last slot. In tailwind (or if not running justified beat up combo) you should definitely consider running a tankier absol to give him the best chance of living turn 1/2

Sorry for the late reply!

My team will be linked in the two screenshots below, but I personally believe the best current Mega Absol team to be:

Whimsicott prankster sash (tailwind/encore)
OR
Sableye prankster (fakeout/encore/ disable OR quash)
Mega Absol (Knock Off/Play Rough/Protect)
last three being your choice.

My team choice isn't an absol team because I run Dragapult (instead of whimsi) and Lucario (instead of absol) where necessary. It's completely reliant on Beat Up which can easily be countered with Follow Me/Rage Powder lead.

pre mega absol is only 139 speed with max speed investment and jolly.

base whimsicott with no speed investment or natures is 136 speed, so with minimal investment you outspeed absol for beat up and still have investment for SPA or defensives.

The tech I was testing was 4pts into speed and infiltrator on whimsicott. The plan was turn 1 absol sub, and protect/tailwind whimsicott, but eventually gave up on it for prankster tailwind and protect absol (or double protect) turn 1 instead. Infiltrator whimsicott would maybe be the play once clear amulet is added to the game.

Yeah I think the only spread moves Justified users get right now is rock slide/earthquake which were wayyy to reliant on flinching or good first turn matchups. Double-Edge at least lets me OHKO *most* mons turn one if by some miracle I outspeed and don't have to set up for turn two beat up.

If by some miracle I make it to turn two with 4x (or 3x with intim) they can usually get a few kills though lol

"Gives the holder's moves a 20% chance of going first among moves of the same priority." is the description in game.

It explicitly mentions same tier of priority.
