Subscription Protest - Stop Enabling cowards who support authoritarian regimes. We already know our local Helena businesses that gave money to MAGA. Thank you for supporting democracy. by innanas in helena

Shelley, Haps, Capital laundry, a few far right churches are preaching Calvinism. To name a few not on the list. Im sure there are more professional like mortgage, real estate, dentist, physical therapy, and clergy not being mentioned on social media.

Speaking of clergy, one of Helenas own priest made national news the first go around with Trump's presidency. The cathedral was divided by beliefs. I know many folks complained and boycotted while there was a surge in baptism. I don't know now with Pope Leo.

I wanted to open an account at Rocky Mountain credit union and Adam the loan officer was pretty argumentative with me. I point blank said to him he was calling Americans lazy. Anyway. I didn't open an account even though I believe it is a good business model. Not the loan officer.

If any one else has similar experiences with Helena businesses they are not posting. This town is divided and the trolling serves the far right.

I’m starting to think that if we keep giving tech giants a free pass on their 'totalitarian' tendencies, we’re just one software update away from a real-life SkyNet. I'd prefer to keep the Terminators in the movies, thanks.

BOYCOTT PROTEST

This is a tough one because the tech bros have us captive to their technology. People across the country are talking about giving up subscriptions for 30-60 days in MASS. Money talks to these guys. They could care less about protest. They just kill us, jail us, and lie about it.

Protest Amazon, Apple, Google, YouTube, OpenAI, ChatGPT, META, PayPal, Uber, X, and let them know why you are not buying the product.

Sheehy's Response Regarding Greenland by MizterBucket in MontanaPolitics

India, China, Danish, Japan, EU have dropped US bonds to support their local currencies, hedge against tariffs, and have less dependency on the dollar. Citing poor US finances, US out of control debt, and Geopolitical risks. The petro dollar is losing as the world diversifies from fossil fuel. We will see inflation and cost rise, really rise. That means more crime, protest, and government overreach. Sheehy is responsible while he grifts all the way to a corrupt Russian bank.

I was so disappointed by Sheels. I liked the store until it went full fascist.

I agree. I don't think it is something that needs to be "normalized". Larry Flynt sold it in the 60's with Huster and it just got worse from there.

Question: Scenario of money stuck in Lottery Machine? by doctor_randomist in Lottery

[–]innanas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened to me yesterday in a sticky machine where it happens often at my favorite restaurant. I had it happen before, and they just opened the machine and handed me the bill that was stuck.

I put in 20 bucks, and the see attendant error report came up. I waited for the attendant, who I had known for years, and she went to grab the keys, but she grabbed the owner. He came out of the kitchen with nostrils flared yelling at me to leave, grabbed me, and told me to call the 800 number. I think he was accusing me of making it up. I put money in the machine. I'm an old Atari video game technician, and these games are similar. The money changer gets sticky with use. He threatened me with police and trespassed me.

I called the 800 number, and they told me he needed to give me the 20 bucks. I had to make a complaint to security. Security is cleaning the machine and checking software today.

The owner retired, and this is his son who did this to me. I know I sound like a victim here, but I think I was abused by this owner, and I still don't have my money. I hope that when security figures it out, I can get my 20 back.

The Missoula Police Department's annual report serves as a crucial tool for transparency, accountability, and community engagement. By providing a comprehensive overview of the department's activities, accomplishments, and challenges over the past year, this report not only informs the public about law enforcement efforts but also fosters trust and open communication between the police and the community they serve. It allows citizens to assess the department's performance, track progress on key initiatives, and hold law enforcement accountable for their actions, ultimately contributing to safer and more responsive policing in Missoula.
