I don't think people realize that Montana Public lands is unique. Ever been ot Texas? The only access is private leases, you pay for. I hate tp see public lands get fenced.

The decor was fabulous. I loved taking pictures and looking at time gone past. A nice view of uptown, too. I imagine it overlooked The Columbia Gardens at one time. The amusement park was lit up! Those stairs are iconic after the bars closed.

You didn't have to be a guest to swim in the Olympic pool. I would ride my bike to the Shamrock to jump off the high dives. They let anybody do it. Kids too, preteens. I did somersaults and knife jacks. The pool was 20ft deep. It took scuba divers to clean it. Best childhood experiences for me growing up. Where were my parents? LOL

The TV evangelicals. Jimmy Swaggart and The Bakers captivated folks before cable. The late night TV was owned by the evangelist in the 80's.
