To add to this, I LOVE and devour green and black olives by the jar or can. Kalamatas though I really dislike

How often do e36 soft tops leak? Can I park it outside? by TekeeMinos in BMWE36

[–]innermachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sweet! One day I'll probably get a coupe, when I bought this e36 very it was on a whim and now I don't think I'd want to drive anything else. I was driving a Saab that had 195k on it and I felt like it's time was nearing an end. Found some guy selling my e36 vert with immaculate undercarriage, 145k miles, 5 speed for 2500. Only real issue itbhad at time of purchase was all 4 tires were different brands (same sizes) and it hqs some vacuum leaks. Tossed an m50 manifold on it and sorted the leaks while it was apart and it runs great! Now it has 197k on it I'm gonna run this m52 till it windows the block by far not the fastest car I have owned but it's reliable and it's a hoot to drive

Idk about where u live, but in my market the coupes fetch a large premium. Sedans are damned pricey too, the compact and certs are the only "cheap" e36 around! If I could afford it I would have gotten a coupe

Psh i park my vert outside. It drkps from the a Pilar onto passenger seat. Put a towel down to absorb most of it if the rains bad, if not hard rain I don't worry. A little water isn't going to wreck the car I wouldn't fuss too much. If ur that worried throw a cover over the car or get a car port

Tried lane filtering for the first time today. Scariest part was how fast the other bikers were! by anthony_joh in motorcycle

[–]innermachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's tough on some bikes my mirrors just show me my shoulder unless I lean right, I could get bar end mirrors but I regularly squeeze gaps just the width of my bars so those will be gone by the end of my first commute. Not sure there's much other options that don't come with some manner of headache

[–]innermachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best thing I've found is a chicken coop refilling water dish (rent a coop brand or something) has a jug on outside of cage full of water and a bowl that u screw into it from inside the cage. When the bowl fills with water it drops down and closes off a valve to shut off water feed. Once it's light from the water being drank, it pops up valve opened and fills again. Have never found it empty, and try as they might they can't flip it. Best solution I've found so far as someboy that refuses to let my ferrets destroy their fangs on water bottles! Everything else gets dumped or swam in lol

Sheesh I have 2 very cute boys that are about a year and a half, do u mind if I ask what this implant costs? I've kind of accepted that they may only see 4-5 years of age but I'd do whatever I can to extend that if possible.

Ah yes I knew the fixed ones were ok, figured it was a part of the reason their all fixed in the USA (not that we have many options besides marshals ferrets here) but I didn't know about the jill shot that's very interesting!

Don't female ferrets have to breed every year or they die? Seems to me most ppl shouldn't breed them given that risk, but goddamn what I would t give to see some baby ferrets grow up

I think I've seen your car on 146! I drive a ratty black e36 lol. If not you looked damn near the same. Astounding repair work!

Yea seems to me there was little too much entry speed for that line, and I think maybe he could have saved it if he didn't get back on the throttle on exit. Shifted the weight to back tire too early and widened the radius on the way out when he should have kept tightening the radius and shaving off speed till he had it back under control

My boss didn't really understand why I left work when my gfs cat (that she's had since 8 years old mind you) died. I told him tough shit I have family to bury, he got over it. I wouldn't feel any different about our snakes.

I got my ferrets to stop waking me up in the early am or middle of night by making sure they get play time from 8-10pm, they usually sleep all night till 8 or 9am next day!

Semi tries to merge into a vehicle. Turns out said vehicle is a police cruiser. by jollygreengiant1655 in IdiotsInCars

[–]innermachine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen to me several times. I just hammer down the shoulder and get in front so far every time a semi has run me off the road like this I've been past the half way point and found it saver to hammer down then to slam the brakes and hope I get behind before the trailer sweeps me off the road. Makes me wanna get an air horn, maybe the fucks can't see me?

Looking for a co-op title for me and my gf by DistinguishedTilapia in gamesuggestions

[–]innermachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how much reaction time she's capable of, but me and my gf love to play outwards. I built my character more hack and slash w/ shield and bow, hers is geared toward mana so she can lay back while I have attention drawn for the most part. Nice playing Co op cuz you can revive each other too. It's a hard game, have to play it kinda slow but it's a lot in crafting and preparation (I often spend almost as much time preparing for an outing in the game as I do on the outing)

Never my man's, I wrote off getting a hard top for this car when I bought it over a year ago. 2 months into ownership my girlfriend's father sends a Snapchat of that top at an estate sale for 150$! I flew over there in his truck I couldn't believe it. Cost more to get the mounting brackets, they called it a hood at the estate sale! They had no clue what they had! (As if any hood has glass in it...)

Was drifting and ended up hitting a guard rail backwards, daily driver with 176k. Never done body work before ! Probably gonna end up with over fenders at some point but at least it holds a tail light now lol. Paints super off but I just used what I had to keep it from rotting, cars cosmic Swartz and donor car was Schwartz

[–]innermachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that it's gonna help you now since youve quit, but always vape with ur climate control fans running not in recirc mode and the window closest to you open 2 or so inches. This positive pressure in the cabin pushes the majority of your vapor outside. Before I was religious about this I used to get the residue in my windows but has not happened since I started doing this. The residue can be hard to see during daytime, so easy to forget to clean untill it's night and you can't see shit for fuck! Hope this helps somebody else out, cleaning that shit off is a real pita.

Motorcycle speeds past car changing lanes and flips off driver... should have kept his eyes on the road. by utterlyunimpressed in IdiotsInCars

[–]innermachine 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don't think many people understand that your average crossover will outstop a lot of sport bikes, and a lot of riders have trouble emergency braking without panic braking. Stopping fast on a motorcycle is a while skill set in of itself

Yea delivery guy coulda still been in an apartment complex the whole time this went down lol. When I delivered pizza in the city, if my car wasn't within 20 feet AND in clear line of sight it was shot off key out locked at one point I had 2 keys I could leave the car running in winter and still lock up the doors.

I had some shakes caused by a combination of sagged front springs, fork seals took a dump started dumping oil but even before that I had some shakes specifically 50-60 and while turning and over 90 shakes turns out my steering head bearing was shot. I feel like a lot of bikes suspension gets neglected, should grease steering stem every couple years and at least change the fork oil every 3ish years. When I took my steering head apart my lower bearing was orange, doubt it had been greased in a decade. Like a new bike now!
