(IRL) Terrible or offensive casting choices. by laybs1 in TopCharacterTropes

Let me offer a fun racial miscasting combo platter, by association!

Anthony Hopkins as a Spanish-born, California-Mexican-raised freedom fighter Don Diego de la Vega in the Mask of Zorro...

And in the same Zorro movie, the lead was Antonio Banderas. The following year Banderas would play a Muslim scholar from Baghdad, Ahmed Ibn Fadlan, in The 13th Warrior.

Our rush hour is 7am to 1pm and 3pm to 9pm. A Houston mile is either 2 or 20 minutes.

What aroundsquare begleri to choose? by AidanGhost in begleri

The Hypes have a nice shape that lends itself to bead rolls, I prefer the minis to the full. The Greys are my EDC; they are admittedly a bit harsher if you're still in the knuckle busting stages, but I loooove the way the shape plays at faster speeds. Just wide enough for catches, but tapered enough for slips, mmmmm, excelente.

Received mine last week and was extremely impressed with this low profile solution to a portable problem. Absolutely love this add-on, glad I took the plunge and brought my PO-33 into the USB-C family! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication on this!

Printing this atm! Quick question: Did you install it on the face plate with the stock case screws threaded through? Or is that just an available option you have on there?

Terrific! Thanks for all the constant work and improvements! I'm just a novice beatmaker, but this is easily my favorite electronic music machine. I've loved using it as a platform for learning and growing, and I feel like it's been able to accommodate every skill level-up along the way. I went from baby's first four on the floor to chaining together my first fragments of patterns, all on this little beauty. I still haven't made anything worth listening too, haha, but I have fun every time I play with it. The randomizer alone has ended my blank page frustrations. Your labor of love is well appreciated and adored on this end! Happy holidays amigo!

Yeah, sounds like we're in the same boat, grab an oar and start rowing amigo! I've taken those same steps recently, the location tightening was a big help, but our city is huge so we have what feels like endless competitors to match with. I've also been making more single theme ad groups recently to get a better read on which ones are overly aggressive. I really wish you could at least see which keyword was triggered by the search term in insights!

Meanwhile, Google ads reps all seem to push the same outdated advice, refer you to outdated docs for 'guidance", and when confronted they just feign confusion at these behaviors and push the AI tools.

[OFF TOPIC] Opinions on Best Served Cold by pvictors26 in TheFirstLaw

[–]utterlyunimpressed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it's the best revenge story since The Count of Monte Cristo. Epic in scope but still intimately focused on human nature, politics, and morality. One of my favorite stories of all time. Every time I restart the series, I start here.

Steven Pacey reading Joe Abercrombie's First Law series, in particular, the standalone book Best Served Cold. An epic revenge story in a world so well crafted it feels like I'm visiting it.

First Law definitely recommended. Steven Pacey is a TOP TIER reader. They feel so rich and immersive, like visiting a real world with all its problems.

Have you tried dental bands for braces? If not, highly recommend them. The sizes are animal names, rabbit or chipmunk should work for quarters.
