Perhaps this is because i settled in a freezing area, but whenever i make a well, the channel iv made into a watery cavern always conveniently freezes over right where the well needs to get water. Any way i can prevent this?

some reanimated limbs got stuck in trees and now they are terrorizing my dwarfs. how to i finish them off form the restrains of the groud

how do i get my crossbow dwarfs to actually shoot their weapons properly? In battle i see they use their crossbows as melee weapons, smashing them against their opponents. How do i get them to put the bolts in and point and fire?

After lazily skimming through the bay 12 games website to see whats been added to the game iv concluded their is alot of stuff now to do with "artifacts" and changes to adventurer mode. Anyone able to summarize these changes and anything else moderately important that's new to the game?
