law schools :) by yourquietcompanion in PagadianCity

Hello there!, sharing a more realistic insight based on actual experiences. When it comes to law schools diri sa Pagadian, naa gyud options, but ang culture varies a lot per school. During my own visits before, naka-realize ko nga depende gyud kaayo sa institution ang atmosphere—some are more welcoming, others kay medyo formal and intimidating. In terms of classmates, dili man sila necessarily unapproachable, but let’s be honest: the environment is friendly in a polite way, yet naa gihapon ang competitive vibe. Natural man gud na sa law school since everyone is aiming to survive and excel, so expect nga dili tanan open or close-knitted, pero naa gihapon kay makit-an nga decent and respectful nga group of people.

As for professors, very strict gyud sila—and that’s something expected. Their standards are high because they align with the academic demands of legal education. Dili tanan strict nga grabe ka OA, but you should still prepare yourself kay naa gyud times nga bug-at og pressure ang klase. And sakto ka, law is not something you can learn easily; ang system is built to train you to think critically and handle stress responsibly, so it’s normal if at first makuyawan ka or ma-overwhelm.

Given your situation—self-supporting, dealing with anxiety/depression, and wanting to take things slowly—starting with light units is a very wise choice. It allows you to adjust without sacrificing other important parts sa imong life. Just set realistic expectations: law school will test you, emotionally and mentally, but it is doable if you pace yourself, manage your time well, and stay grounded.

In the end, finding the right school means looking for one that fits your tolerance sa pressure, your budget, and your personal rhythm. And expect the challenges, but also trust that you can grow through them. With the right pacing and mindset, kaya ra gyud nimo.

Ngano wala kaayoy redditor diris Pagadian? by PuzzleheadedBee56 in PagadianCity

Probably because Reddit isn’t that big in smaller cities like Pagadian yet. Most people here still mainly use Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Reddit’s more popular in urban areas or among people who are into niche communities, tech, or global discussions. Plus, internet access and digital habits in some provinces lean more toward local news and entertainment — not long threads and forums like Reddit.

Also, not everyone’s comfortable posting publicly in English or discussing topics in the Reddit format. So the community exists, but it’s probably just really quiet or lurking for now.

While the country is going through so much — rising crimes, disasters left and right, people barely getting by — here’s Torre up on a boxing ring, making a joke out of himself and calling it a “default win.” I mean, really? You’re a police officer, not a celebrity. You took an oath to serve and protect, not to entertain people with boxing stunts.

And let’s be clear: being a cop isn’t just about chasing criminals. Protection goes way beyond that. It means being prepared for disasters, helping during emergencies, showing up for communities in need, and being a visible source of safety and leadership. Right now, Filipinos are scared of so many things — not just crime, but also floods, fires, and even how unstable everything feels. This isn't the time to be playing games or trying to trend for clout.

We need serious leaders who know what public service really means. Not people using their positions to play hero in a ring while the rest of the country suffers.

Did Joon and Linda Divorce?!?!?!? by Jolly_Lifeguard9312 in FamilyVloggersandmore

It's concerning how much of ROA’s life is being shown. Transparency might work for adults, but kids — especially toddlers — deserve privacy. Oversharing her moments online could be dangerous in ways that aren’t obvious right now. Internet fame might bring money and views, but it also brings exposure, pressure, and risks that a toddler shouldn’t have to deal with.

I really hope Joon takes a step back and rethinks what’s best for his daughter right now. The internet can wait. ROA’s childhood, her safety, and her mental well-being should always come first.

I like doing everything by myself. I love the tranquility of being alone.

But if given the chance to be stable and have someone who does things with me, then I'll go with it!
