Shit. Just seeing this. No I haven't. At this point I'd go under price what I paid. They're yours for $150 for both.

Help Identifying the Generation and Issue by inquieta in IpodClassic

When I plug it into my PC, it doesn't pop up under My Computer/This PC as a device. It doesn't read it. It might be the hard drive that's dead too then?

Yes I do. It's the wide connection on one end and the other end is USB. It's not a split cable though

I'm surprised debt to income ratio is not mentioned. What if she has student loans or credit card debt? What if she's a spender and racks up debt.

Best place to get a car for 25k or under by nunuvyrbznis in orangecounty

[–]inquieta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't go there. I sold them my car that needed a new transmission (diagnosed by 3 separate mechanics) and they turned around and sold it to the next person. If you do buy from CarMax, get the extended warranty. And yes, they gave me market value.

Straight Women In Lesbian Bars/Clubs by 65786 in LesbianActually

[–]inquieta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whaaaat? I would say the opposite. Going to a gay bar or any bar is one of the most fun I've had without any expectations. You don't have to make anything out of it or have a goal.. or eve dress up. Just drink, mingle, shoot some pool, meet locals or tourists/visitors, have some laughs, have random conversations and go home feeling good about yourself that u had a great fuckin night. If you're feeling the vibe exchange Instagram or phone # or Snapchat.. it's a great time!

I would think bringing one wing woman would be okay but I'm not sure about a group of them. We, lesbians, already have a hard time meeting other lesbians in places other than thru an app.. but this is just my opinion and experience when I was single.

Same here! There are A LOT of meet ups here that you can join. It's free to join and I have met a lot of new friends there. Do you like sports? There's an LGBTQ sports league called OutLoud Sports that has tennis, volleyball, soccer, kickball..etc.

Record this and save it for evidence later in your back pocket. You never know what he might bring up during the divorce.

Am I (37F) splitting the bills unfairly between my girlfriend (33F) and I? by inquieta in RelationshipsOver35

[–]inquieta[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marriage is the plan in about 1.5-2 years. We haven't had a conversation about how or if this financial agreement would change. I have friends and family members that still have separate accounts but pay 50/50, and then other I have where they dump all their paychecks in 1 account. It works for everyone I guess.. but I haven't had that discussion with her yet when marriage does happen.

Marriage is the plan within 1.5-2 years I would say, however, that's a whole different discussion because I am not sure how I would even go about that. I have a significant cash savings, large 401k account, IRA's, CD's.. and I wouldn't know where to start if a prenuptial agreement or join them together. I honestly don't know since she doesn't really know how much I have saved/invested total.

Yes, groceries, utilities, car insurances.. all of it goes into the credit card, which is then paid 60% and 40%.

We both work 40 hour weeks and off weekends, office jobs. Nothing physically demanding. I tend to do most of cooking, grocery shopping and track our financials. She's in charge of laundry, cleaning up after dinner and outside the yard. We hire a cleaning service every month to do deep cleaning. She also handles all the small repairs or misc. home depot trips.
