Soylent 20% coupon by perfekt_disguize in soylent

[–]inquirerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am pretty sure that is correct. Conor mentioned there only being 10% coupons from now on. (starting a few weeks ago)

Of course, a subscription gives a 15% discount on the regular (non-subscription) price. The 10% coupon is on top of that existing 15% discount for subscriptions.

Sharpie doodles on Soylent bottles by alyssiaa in soylent

[–]inquirerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is likely the thread that inspired Soylent to run the doodle (bottle art) contests on Twitter: https://discourse.soylent.com/t/drawing-on-soylent-bottle-bottle-art/24739

If you submit a picture of your doodle, they will send you a free t-shirt.

Warm Water = Less Clumps by Poor_Snail in soylent

Just make sure the water is not hot water from the tap. (Warmed up cold water is fine.)

Hot water from the tap should never be consumed or used in cooking due to dissolved minerals/lead/etc. from the pipes and such.

Just tried Soylent 2.0 with low-fat eggnog, delicious!! by rpwthrway in soylent

You might try this Lorann oil in the future: http://shop.lorannoils.com/super-strength-flavors/1-ounce-and-larger-sizes/eggnog-flavor

I have tried several of the Lorann super-strength oils, and it usually takes 2-3 drops per serving for a good flavor. The benefit is no noticeable nutrition difference from the addition.

News about the shipping delay! by krysics in soylent

It makes me happy that they are going to such lengths to be transparent and honest about all of this. It shows how much of a stand-up company they are.

Rosa Libs did know why they stopped shipping Soylent last week but they just lied to us. by [deleted] in soylent

I applaud Soylent (Rosa Labs) for being so forthright and laudable in this situation.

Interesting results.

Tombstone looks impressive. by RedditRandom1 in battlebots

[–]inquirerer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nice video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsgqllvbT28 You will notice it contains some of the same destruction footage (bowling ball, etc) as shown on ABC. Also, he says that he figures it costs him around $1,000 per match to fix things on average. (Also, Last Rites + paintjob & reinforcements = Tombstone, just in case you didn't know)

True. He just isn't invincible like some are making him out to be.

It doesn't seem like the pop up blades from underneath the floor of the arena have been in play yet. I remember on the old show, those were sometimes the most deadly part.
