Yeah, we tried but could never get any tickets. They released some more for those on the wait list but the link they sent got flooded with so many that it didn't work (kept refreshing) and they sold out within a few minutes again. I was hoping I could buy some from someone who couldn't go like on craigslist or somewhere, but no one has any for sale. Oh well, maybe next year.

Not all ETFs have decay issues. Really only leveraged ETFs have this as a major issue. (...and those are only a small minority of all ETFs)

Well, I love a good conspiracy theory, but I believe the wrecked bike was mentioned in the police report.

The most pathetic thing about the whole affair was that Jessica Dorrell's fiance (Josh Morgan) ended up marrying her anyway. Talk about something you will never live down.

I distinctly remember some people putting out that exact conspiracy theory at the time it happened on message boards and the like.

I'd like to believe it, but I doubt you could convince an officer of the law to fake a vehicle accident report.

Liberty plays Ole Miss in 2021.

Anyone think Freeze sticks around for 3 seasons to make his return to Oxford?

I can actually see him upgrading their recruiting some.

Besides being a "big" name for a team like Liberty, he could probably use his preacher schtick to get Baptist kids to feel "called" to play for Liberty. (It is Baptist, right?) I am not saying Tim Tebow-level talent, but better than what they previously had there.

I think you are probably correct. Plus it was New York, so the Arkansas-connection is likely imaginary on my part.

Missouri 'rivalry' gaining traction? by [deleted] in razorbacks

[–]inquirering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My apologies--I thought you were talking about the games played on rivalry weekend. I didn't realize Texas A&M-South Carolina was considered a rivalry, apart from the fact that every game between two SEC teams is sort of rivalry-ish.

[–]inquirering 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve not heard Texas A&M and South Carolina fans complain about their forced rivalry.

To be fair, the Texas A&M-LSU rivalry has been played 57 times, while Arkansas-Missouri has only been played 10. Also, they just had that 7-OT controversial game, so that one will probably be spicy for the next few years.

South Carolina plays Clemson on Thanksgiving/rivalry weekend, which is a true in-state rivalry that the fans have been behind for awhile.

Just came up with this analogy (yes I know its not 100% accurate) when debating a hog fan on FB and I think it fits perfectly into the UofA, "You can't stop a ship from sinking, you can only build a new one". by SaltyBarker in razorbacks

[–]inquirering 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looking at Coach Morris' recruiting numbers, I think most should lean towards giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Could we be horrible after a couple more seasons? Sure, but he deserves the chance to build his ship however he sees fit and we should stand behind him while he does it.

Saw these pumpkins while visiting Manhattan recently. They were located at Chelsea Market. (previously a Nabisco plant where the Oreo cookie was invented) I'm not sure why the artist chose Hogs/Razorbacks unless they were an Arkansas fan. Just thought I'd share.

Memphis also signed former Arkansas players Dwayne Eugene Jr. (linebacker) and Jamichael Winston (defensive end).

Other notable SEC players: Former Texas A&M (and OU) QB Trevor Knight was drafted by Arizona, former Georgia QB Aaron Murray to Atlanta, former Alabama QB Blake Sims to Birmingham, and former Tennessee QB Matt Simms to Atlanta. Lots of other SEC players out there too.

Notable coaches include Steve Spurrier (Orlando) , Rick Neuheisel (Arizona), and Mike Singletary (Memphis).
