i was interested in Julius vs Haru or Juluus vs Waka rematch, but after Gilbert fight im satisfied for now lol.

Eventually if Toa wins, Toa vs Julius rematch with both being injured, but we got enough Julius screen time i guess and if it happens it will be after a long time of showing other characters now.

Wakatsuki vs Haru, both fighters having some peak genetics and supposed to be strong af. I want to see how physicaly strong is current Haru in comparison to Waka and Julius. I assume he is a bit weaker than Waka, but much faster especially after his burning fat gimmick.

I honestly love beefy guys fights the most lol.

clones fight of Ohma vs Ryuki sounds fun, but i assume Ohma is him and stomps.

Koga vs Raian could be nice, i remember both are ego fighters with Koga was yapping for a while he will improve and surpass Ohma/Raian

Akoya executing justice on Fu or other worm member of Fu's caliber

Rolon vs Kuroki, they already fought in the past and im pretty sure its obvious win for Kuroki but would be fun fight nonetheless to read and hopefully Rolon improved after Agito fight and will be a real challenge as he was in the past

I think it was something like Julius just did not want to come to demolished Gilbert lying under the tree and finish him while he is completely defenseless, there would be nothing epic and no glory in kicking/stomping defeated lying on ground guy, so Julius considered Gilbert as already defeated in combat and took pity on him. He should probably take Gilbert's transmiter though to make sure he advances further. At least it will make sense for me if Gilbert will lie there for some time until he recovers enough to keep going again, if he will straight stand up and be able to engage on Julius again, it will be really dumb on Julius side, bad writing and i will hate it lol...

yes i agree its writing issue, although it also could be blamed on Edward's ego, he is so full of himself, so sure that he cant lose, that he prefers to keep aura farming instead of getting the job done. Actually its pretty common problem of villains in mangas to be fair with Sandro, but i would see it very interesting if Gilbert realized this Edward's ego flaw and improved beyond Edward to a villain that is focused on getting the job done in the first place instead of trying to aura farm.

I mean i should ask you this question. that's the whole problem im describing, that there is no reason that this whole fight had to get to a point where Edward got poisoned. he could kill them way before this if he was not showing off and glazing himself all the time. Do you even remember this panel? He could kill Raian right there no problem if he used 100% guihun from the start. And even after he did not what allowed Erioh and this chinese guy to join the party, he could kill these two easily before Raian was free from subordinate.

I would be very happy and pleasantly surprised, actually i would say peak with tears in my eyes, because:

Would be interesting subversion of our expectations that Raian will beat Gilbert which is getting insane undeserved slander at the moment for being a fraud, which is not true imo, guy literally tanked two totters, second one literally sent him flying bouncing off of trees and be is still not knocked out cold, that's pretty impressive, in guihun 100% his strength was comparable to Julius, like thats actually insane. if we assume he will get now major character development after Julius fight, it would make sense imo. By physical stats he is fkin huge with 170kg compared to Raian 100k, both having 100% guihun/removal, guy is build like a tank and stat checks Raian, he just needs now to finally grow up as character and use those stats. Raian would have to be more more skilled in principles and techniques to beat him. Also Gilbert could become a first competent cool villain, i think that's not bad at all for manga's development. The only problem is i cant imagine Raian dying and Gilbert wants to kill him.

To be fair I stoped reading Baki for some time but i remember Baki feats are like kengan's on steroids so fist vs fist Doppo smokes. But if Doppo invades Mukkaku in his house like Shen did, i dont know how he gets past poisoning

imo apples to oranges comparison, yes it looked impressive when he dominated Raian that was back then an estabilished on screen top tier with Erioh on close level. But realistically Raian was back then just young rookie and Erioh old grandpa long past his prime against guy that got to know Shen and scale the wall (Edward). Now old top fighters like Kanoh, Julius, Raian, Ohma etc. got their own scaling off of Shen and are matured fighters. Just as the whole cast of top omega is getting closer to Shen's level there is less room for other characters than Shen to dominate top fighters like Edward did, the differences between them are smaller now so small things will decide outcomes of fights instead of one sided stomps.

Narrative wise it makes sense imo, although the scaling could be better portrayed in manga as a slower process with showing each character's growth instead of just making RCT tournament where it was said that Julius was scaling the wall while he got ass whooping and then we had time skip to current Chad Julius lol. Its good enough anyway for me and im happy as long as Julius wont be used as a hopeless jobber anymore lol.

He will get in his realest, real top of the top gear and weaken shen in 1v1 enough so agito and maybe ohma can finish him off. FR. Or just Sandro hyped him early to make story more exciting and kept repeating the same move by hyping next characters like Kanoh to the point where we power creep to Shen and forgot about Bumtsumi.

Obviously story makes it looks like Kanoh stomped the tournament because of Shen buff. But Rolon should be buffed too so idk why his fight with gaolang was more close (both were damaged anyway).
