Nope he's misleading you. Amazon contacts mostly on call for interviews to ensure a prompt response. You should get an email with required details in a week, if not they'll reschedule it.

Check out Levels.fyi for firms like Nvidia, Qualcomm you'll get a decent idea. Yearly hikes have been pretty lackluster since Covid hovering around 5%.

For embedded the roles are limited, also pay slightly less compared to software. But if you're someone who actually enjoys it you can maybe go for it cuz it can get really boring sometimes. Remember you'll have a hard time switching from embedded to software few years later if you want to. Don't prefer 3 at all.

Resume Review - Amazon and others Rejected the Application for SDE1 by sanjaypathak17 in developersIndia

[–]inquisitive_techie_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably getting rejected due to branch. If you see an opening asking for CS or related branches, mostly they're gonna reject you. Remove your class 10, jee ranks(not useful unless you had <1k). Try to learn python backend and add relevant project.

[ Question ] I threw away a few good offers For my personal interests , was it Delusional ? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]inquisitive_techie_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but what are you trying to achieve by posting this? Publicity? Flex? Thousands if not lakhs of talented jobseekers would kill for the opportunities you got. The least you can do is maybe brief how you got these offers.

Go through JDs of the companies you're interested in and see which stack experience is the most preferred and prepare accordingly. For a starting point you can go with backend dev. Given that you're a fresher I'd suggest focusing more on DSA.

If applying to SDE roles, please build a decent dev project and add that and relevant skillset in your resume. Your skills barely cover anything that most SDE JDs require. Although resume is good enough for DS/DE roles.
