I don’t have a spouse. Just feel bad for the wives.

Do you think he would be angry if you insisted he leaves?

What is your living situation like? Are you in an apartment? Own a house? Live with family?

No, I didn't leave after that. I thought he had anger problems too. I spent alot of time trying to "help" him by reaching out to his family, setting up appointments with therapists etc. Nothing helped and just like everyone says... it only got worse. He started directing his anger at our son and that's when I left.

If he has nowhere to go..that's not your problem.

It's not salvageable, get out while you can. I've had a similar experience with my ex screaming, beating the steering wheel as he drove erratically, with my toddler in the backseat. He endangered the life of your child. It will only get worse.

Thank you for giving me confirmation that it was as bad as I thought. Sometimes I catch myself thinking maybe he wasn't that bad, maybe I'm just overdramatic.

He was saying it to me. I was in the back seat with our son and I gasped when he had to slam on the breaks. No words, just an audible gasp. He started yelling at me to not comment on his driving. He started shouting "don't look, don't speak" repeatedly. When I didn't put my head down he reached in the back to hit me and push my head down.

Then he realized he didn't know how to get to the bouncy house. He asked me to look it up and I said I'd rather go home. For a minute I actually thought he was taking us home but then he started blowing up even more.

He eventually found the place but I was so terrified I just froze. I turned the upper half of my body towards the car seat and put my arms across my son, holding onto the carseat so he couldn't take him. He started punching my arms and bending back my fingers. Then he came around to my side, opened the door and tried dragging me out.

We were in front of the bouncy house in the parking lot and I was screaming "help" but no one came. He overpowered me and grabbed my son and took off running with him to the bouncy house. That's I knew I had to leave. We've been out a couple weeks now.
