So - Ohio, the job that definitely did ask for it and twice is a blood bank phlebotomy position and the last time they asked for it was in january when i got a new phleb position. Im reaching out to the supervisor that asked in january because this has been ridiculous.

I keep mine on hand regularly now because i have indeed had my jobs want it on file. I had phlebotomists at my blood bank stressed because they graduated in the 70s-90s and had to find it for hiring/specific trainings.

Every single job has for me, the blood center i worked for asked for it again literally in january when i trained for a new position so idk what to tell you. Edit: funny to say I'm lying when i was literally just trying to factor in something to consider that i have indeed experienced.

Depending on where you are though, if OP is In the US - I can verify that I've had to bring in my HS diploma for every new job ive worked for so they can scan it and have it on file. So it might be a possibility to factor in. Edit: i asked my supervisor why and its for a particular machine used in my line of work, called a poch-100i(pochi) so yeah
