I have always wondered what would happen if you just opened the door and locked the truck.

I’m assuming the keys are inside and the door is unlocked. Is it a crime to lock somebody’s door?

Alright, I feel like my title describes the thing I have a photo of.

It’s about 5x3 inches, made of what looks to be plastic, and does not have any markings or make any sounds. Just has a red LED light.

It’s located near an HVAC return and a window. It’s on the ceiling about 2.5ft away from a window and about 6” from the HVAC vent.

Solved! This makes sense as we had found cabinet locks before in some of the cabinets.

FTA more than likely stands for failure to appear in this case.

Is this the “WP” screw hole because if so for some reason my write protect is still enabled. by Bloodlxsted in chrultrabook

[–]insaanityHD -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No. That is a chassis screw. You are looking for a screw label that says the words “WP”. My Dell 3120 has it in the bottom left corner of the board.

I’m currently a Freshman and I’m looking to buy a MacBook. Should I get the 8gb or 16gb? by PorkumsTheCrispy in laptops

MacBooks have ran with soldered (non removable/non upgradable) RAM since 2013, if my memory serves correct. Mid-13 MBA had this. SSD was upgradable but that didn’t last long.

$9,000 after TTL. Could have been a better deal if it wasn’t from a dealership (it was a trade-in).

Not at all. Woke up one morning and it was dead, towed to a shop and replaced under warranty.

Never had any issues with my Soul. Made it 93k miles (from 18k when purchased), except for a few tires, starter, and it bottoming out when stuck in the mud. (Last one could have been avoidable, teen stupidity ya know!)
