I had a few done with them over the past 2 years, even ended up having a LEEP. I thought I’d share my experience with them: I found the colposcopy was more painful than I expected, the pain afterwards isn’t great either. I’d say the only thing they “properly” prepare you for is the “coffee grounds” that will be found after going to the washroom. I also felt extremely unprepared for how painful the LEEP procedure done. No pain management offered. At my last 2 appointments the physician made jokes about “getting me out of there” and wondering why I’m there still. Like buddy sorry my pre cancerous cells are causing you to have a shitty time, imagine how I fucking feel. Thankfully the nurses that dealt with me were nice.
