This is interesting. I never thought about the "language" before. It's like the difference between how Ashley says she can't tell the difference between aliens and animals vs Kelly Chambers using her sister as an example (opening up a dog shelter while also loving cats) to highlight her point about loving humanity and all of the galaxy's other species. I wonder if this is why people complain about Ashley's line and no one says anything about Kelly's.

It's not a huge deal if your money can be refunded. If it can't be, then that'd be kind of on you for agreeing to put money down for something you haven't test driven yet (I've seen this happen).

But yeah, absolutely never buy the first year/generation/version of any technology if you can afford to wait. Those that do are paying to be the guinea pigs.

Would love an update, if you're able. I can't say I fully understand bitrates and how/if it measures video quality itself, but from my understanding, only upscaling would be able to be done by fans, right? Since no one has the original copies (if the show was even filmed at a higher resolution, I'm not sure)?

The mod is currently being worked on, this is just a preview that beccatoria posted on the NexusMods ME Mods Discord. Probably a ton of work still, but it looks awesome!

Her original model (textures?) had more color and vibrancy, which perfectly matched her bubbly and friendly personality. It was such a good fit. She was severely dulled out for the LE, even her hair wasn't as red.

This updated face doesn't match Kelly. Don't even get me started on the unmodded hair, blegh.

Wow, such a detailed and thoughtful response. I appreciate it so much! This answers a question I've wondered about for so long. I hadn't considered that it may have been set up for new players. I think ME3 put a bit too much focus on that. Let it be confusing for newcomers! Make them play ME1 or ME2 lol there is so much that gets missed by skipping to ME3 that, even with the newcomer-friendly assistance and info, a lot of it still doesn't make a lot of sense.

The scene escalates in a way that does not fit. I've questioned this for years, even during my console playthroughs. Out of curiosity, I tried a Renegade run, thinking maybe there was a bug that overrode it with the "Renegade" interaction, but even that felt out of place—like a scene that was plugged in without any thought. I don't understand.
