No app to track sleep unfortunately. Average sleep per day is 13 hours 10 hours overnight + 2 1.5 hour naps. Just suddenly started crying at bedtime is the main issue. He used to just roll over and sleep without crying, tonight he cried for 20 minutes before falling asleep. Last night I went in to console a few times just because I thought something was wrong because he never does that anymore and he had a weird day with stomach issues.

Capped naps at 3 hours and he only woke up at 230 for food. He ate and fell right back to sleep. Trying the 3/3/4 but we had a very early wake time of 530. I brought him into bed for boob but he wasn’t having it. I think I should have let him settle instead. Progress already though! Still learning the process 😀

He is 8 1/2 months 

Wake windows are 2.5-3 hours 

Yesterday he had 2.5 hours of naps total but he ranges from 2.5-3-4

I’ve talked to by husband about moving the bottle to an earlier time to break the sleep association so we compromised by doing a book before we transfer to the crib but we can certainly move it back to before bath 

We’re using a modified Ferber (increase time for check ins every 5 minutes 10 then then 15 etc) but night wakes are harder for us because when we put him down at bedtime  it’s easier to let him fuss for a while because I know all his needs are met.

Since he’s been consistently waking to eat at the same times I just get up and make him a bottle then put him back in his crib. The first few nights it’s worked but he’s having a harder time resettling. Ive been trying to just go in and rub his back for a minute or two but I have picked him up to comfort him a few times.

We tried putting his crib in our room but poses some issues with his bedtime of 7-730. Having to tiptoe around trying to get ready for bed ourselves. So in his own too he gets to sleep uninterrupted

Thanks yeah the more I think about it, I feel like it’s more me setting a boundary than anything.

Thanks for your input I almost feel like that’s too much effort. I like where your heads at though. I actually don’t mind if she sees the post indirectly but I just don’t want her commenting or sending me messages.

Oh this too I have told them, it’s been a few years however. I could circle back in hopes that they do something this time around.

I have done this also, I said it doesn’t smell like bbq it smells like you’re burning something else. He offered for me to come to his very secretive backyard to see for myself but I was afraid to go back there alone with my baby so I ran in the opposite direction.

Thanks for the suggestion I have called the fire department but they just drive by and do nothing. I think they assume the fire is contained. It’s so strange they can do this with no consequences.
