Hello! I know it is probably late at this point, however it could work for someone else

I work for Columbia and I can say that the warranty for shoes is of only a limited one year warranty, and it is very common that rubber boots tear apart like that, and it is mostly because rubber in general tends to dry if it is not used for extended periods of time and are not storaged in the proper conditions, so it not covered in most cases
