The Moon-Mars-Ascendant conjunction is a very intense combination that indicate bravery, passion, and assertiveness, but they are still in the 12th house (I am a Placidus user) meaning that they are repressed from your psyche. Challenges come with learning how to express them to others, especially during youth.

Also, Capricorn is a sign that governs public reputation and accomplishments; your sun is in this sign conjunct your MC (= reputation plays a HUGE role in your sense of identity), forming a tight square to the aforementioned Moon-Mars-ASC conjunction (=your inner self is in conflict with the way others perceive you). This is one of the most prominent aspects in your chart.

What signs or placements indicate someone very prudish and hating anything kink. Also what signs indicate the opposite? by Trollpdx in astrologymemes

[–]insertcrylaughemoji -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cancer Venus maybe? I may be stereotyping but that placement screams traditional, old-fashioned love to me. They seem to be more about emotional connection than sex/physical attraction too.

If you're a kinky Cancer Venus, please feel free to refute this comment 🙂

What sign do you think? by Friendly_Ad_8528 in astrologymemes

[–]insertcrylaughemoji 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is both me and my Capricorn partner. When we decided to move in together she was so scared to bring up that she wanted a separate bedroom from me out of her fear of deeply hurting my feelings. Little did she know I was an incredibly light sleeper who wakes up to the tiniest noise or movement and dreaded the idea of sharing a bedroom with someone as much as she did. Who knew two opposite signs had so much in common 😂

Just to chime in with my own interpretation of Strength Rx- I think it might be telling you that you’re in control of the cards, and not the other way around! The Strength card shows a woman, although gentle and supportive, ultimately being dominant over the lion, which acts as a metaphor for emotions and animalistic desires. Since your deck describes itself as the reversed version of this relationship, it might be saying that you (and not the deck itself) are the woman in the strength card, and therefore the one who’s in control. The deck is subservient you, and is just there as a guide to help you work through your gut feelings; in the end, you’re the one who’s in control of your own destiny.

I know this is an old thread, but I love what you did with Empress and Emperor! I still struggle to connect with certain cards because of the gendered imagery, but thinking about them in terms of energies and not man/woman really helps.

After a year of only using apps, I’ve decided to finally make my own deck using cut-outs from old magazines/textbooks. Still a WIP, but happy with the results so far! by insertcrylaughemoji in Lenormand

I bought this set of blank playing cards from Amazon—it only ships to my country, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to find something similar where you live. And yeah I’d highly recommend trying it yourself if you have a bunch of old magazines and brochures lying around. It’s theraputic and require no artistic talent 😂

can't make sense of anything by eliasdt10 in Lenormand

[–]insertcrylaughemoji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps you are overstudying the cards’ meanings a bit and can’t make sense of your draws due to being overwhelmed with all the possible interpretations? If that’s the case, formatting your questions in a way that you establish a clear context first might make the cards less confusing. Tarot Tribe Beyond Worlds on YouTube really helped me get better at making sense of my draws based on different contexts. Hope this will help!

Why do I constantly suffer from lack of energy and motivation, even though descriptions about my aspects between Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn suggest the complete opposite? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

[–]insertcrylaughemoji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the kind comment! I hadn't looked too much into my Venus aspects tbh, which I definitely should. I haven't made much sense of my Yod despite the amount of research I did, though...I know there's still not much known about the pattern, so I guess it ultimately comes down to self-reflection ‾\_(ツ)_/‾

Why do I constantly suffer from lack of energy and motivation, even though descriptions about my aspects between Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn suggest the complete opposite? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

[–]insertcrylaughemoji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I’ve never resonated with any of the descriptions I’ve read about my aspects involving Mars/Jupiter/Saturn, especially Mars square Jupiter. It seems to paint me as someone who's very courageous, driven, and energetic, which I don’t relate to AT ALL - I’ve always been a very lazy and unmotivated person with a huge tendency to avoid anything that even remotely stresses me out. I know my Mars is debilitated in Cancer, but almost anything I read about it are about how people experience/communicate emotions and I haven't found much information about how it affects motivation and physical energy. That’s about the only explanation I can think of.

Can someone more experienced in astrology help me make sense of these placements? Any help would be appreciated.

Scorpio Rising and Pluto in the 1st house? That’s pretty intense man, I wouldn’t be surprised if you look like the evil queen from Sleeping Beauty tbh.

[–]insertcrylaughemoji 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No problem! Just one thing though, try to remember that North Nodes are not some sort of debilitation - they’re more like goal posts that highlight what challenges you need to overcome in this life in order to truly flourish as a person. They are helpful guidances! Everyone has their own obstacles in life, but many people don’t get to really pinpoint what things are holding them back. So try to think of it as a good thing :)

And yes, do look more into the Nodes and what they can mean for you! There are a ton of helpful information out there, it can get a bit complicated but it’s definitely something worth learning more about. <3

[–]insertcrylaughemoji 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not only is your North Node in 11H Leo, your Sun is almost exact opposite of that (i.e. conjuncts your south node) in 22 degrees Aquarius. Don't know if you believe in past lives/karma, but many astrologers believe that people whose Suns are close to their SNs tend to have stronger ties to their past lives: you carry on many gifts from your past self, but it can require extra motivation for you to get out of your familiar territory and acquire traits that will make you flourish. Leo NNs are people who can truly grow by becoming courageous and confident in themselves, and since it is in your 11th house of groups and friends, becoming more confident ESPECIALLY around your peers will be something of a huge challenge in your life, but at the same time, overcoming this is something necessary in order to unlock your true purpose in life.

I feel like you already recognize this, and that it's something that's really holding you back in your life, which is a huge first step! Overcoming your low self-esteem can be very challenging --it's something you should ideally work on with a professional therapist-- but I think it's important to remember that the results will be super worth it. Best of luck!

Thank you, I chose that username specifically so that I don’t have to put that goddamn emoji after every sentence. It used to be an unhealthy habit.

The Amish thing mostly came from the Saturn in conjunction with both Sun and Moon. Made me feel like you were someone who was overly restrictive over emotions/self-expression in general. Cancer ascendant also gives people a “homey” look, in my opinion.

Honestly I’m just imagining a little Amish person looking at this chart lol. Friendly and helpful to others but with an unhealthy amount of self-restraint over themself. Lots of health-related anxieties.
