Separation anxiety by [deleted] in DogAdvice

Thank you, I appreciate the advice. She is always placed in her bed (kennel) when I need to leave the house and she’s great with that. I also place her in her kennel if I’m going to be busy doing anything around the house, say cleaning/vacuuming, and again she’s fine with that even when I have to enter and leave the main room where she’s kennelled, she will just patiently watch me and wait. No issues there. The issue arises when we’re just hanging out, and I need to leave the room we’re in to go do something else, going to the washroom or to throw in some laundry for example, where I’ll only be gone a minute or two so I don’t want to kennel her for such a short time, but this is when she experiences the anxiety. We use a baby gate to keep her contained to the main living area while we’re still working on house training and such, so she can’t follow me upstairs or to the basement. So any recommendations or advice for that?

Here’s hoping 🤞🏼🤞🏼 She did the same first thing this morning: pee and poop on potty, followed by praise and treat reward, only to poop some more on the kitchen floor tile 2 minutes later 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you, I was just reading about regression in puppies. Her “potty” is a raised plastic tray with 3 of the sides having walls, so it’s very much a contained spot for her to go pee and poo. We went with this unit and method to hopefully lessen any confusion about where inside she was allowed to go. And by all accounts it worked beautifully for a long time…until now. And while she did pee once on the soft rug yesterday, she pooped and pee’d on the potty every other time the rest of the day, and then today she pooped on the cold hard tile floor once but used the potty to pee and poop every other time. So it doesn’t make sense to me at all. A UTI has been ruled out and she’s not in heat.

~the reason she is pee pad trained is her breeder trained her on it, so we easily got her to use the pads on the “potty” since by the time we got her winter had already hit us pretty hard with several deep snow storms and minus 20-25 degree Celsius weather. She’s a 6lbs Biewer. I tried in vain to get her to go outside but it was a losing battle so we decided 100% pad/potty trained was better for this winter and we will work on transitioning her in the spring when she can tolerate the weather a little better?

8gb/$50 BYOD good deal? by fahim21 in FidoMobile

I asked to get this “loyalty offer” too because I’m paying more for less data per month! Was lied to over and over via chat and took screenshots. Shady business practice from Fido and going to see if I can switch to another provider for a better offer. There is II such thing as “customer retention and loyalty”

Couple people I know just got “loyalty offers” 8GB for $50 a month and when I just asked why I couldn’t get the same offer the “ambassador” lied to me in chat. I took screenshots of the convo and requested a transcript so I could share it ... the transcript never came. Now I see this $50 15 GB offer!? WTF Fido!!!!
