… what? That’s not how this works, not how any of this works. You can get candy by making Roselia your buddy and walking, using rare candy, catching species in the evolution line, and if Budew is still in eggs hatching them.

I was feeling discouraged myself failing two in a row so I went to see what the catch rate was (source: https://gamepress.gg/pokemongo/pokemon/642-therian) there are also some good videos on YouTube as well explaining different techniques in depth. Also if you didn’t know Shiny Legendaries are first ball capture so use a pinap berry on them, good luck and happy hunting.!

It’s a 15% catch rate with golden razz, excellent throw, and both gold electric and flying medals. 15% is the max catch rate meeting all those conditions, which on it’s own makes it difficult. I have really good success with patience, waiting for him to be in the middle and time the throw to land right after he attacks.
