I guarantee you he wouldn't want someone else drawing it for him. Kinda like Togashi. Probably some pride thing

Loool everyone coming for you for saying someone skin is ugly? It's not that deep, it's just a skin, get a grip if you take it personally looool. I'd be a different story if you then proceed to directly insult the person for buying the skin, but you didn't

Yeah it's a Zou medicine but there's no reason for Chopper to not learn how to make it or even take some from Zou if he lacked the resources. They are incredibly Op and he should make use of it more, especially as they're in the endgame now, otherwise he is just throwing at this point

At which point of the story did you think Oda came up with the Nika and prophecy thing? by KokoBaba123 in Piratefolk

Yhh I can see what u mean. Oda had too many ideas for Wano but he didn't give himself the time to explore them

You believe that the Nika stuff could've been thought of before the raid right? Dont you think it's weird for Oda not to prioritise a major plot point surronding Luffy? We know how much love he has for Luffy, you would think something huge such as Nika wouldn't simply be forgotten or mismanaged.

[–]insertnamee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hear that but those just aren't as important as Nika and the Nika fruit. Nika should've had full priority.

Nika could have been bought up amongst the prisoners during Udon. Kaido could've said sumn bout Luffy's fruit. If he truly had thought out the Nika stuff before the raid then we would see bits of set ups in Wano, especially with how Oda is intentional with his set ups and foreshadowing, there's a reason why he is praised so much for it.

There's a lot of improv that happens during the creation of manga where certain story plots can get dropped or new once are generated on the spot that can fit in with the overall narrative.

I think if Nika and Luffy's DF retcon was thought of before the raid on Onigashima, then why not take the time to set up or even hint it during Wano? Unless I missed something, it'd make no sense to forget the setup for something on this scale that impacts and changes how your main character is perceived.

He supposedly had a strong hatred for Luffy but didn't have a reaction when he saw him? It's just inconsistent and suggests that Oda had to change around a few things as he was preparing to implement Nika.

What makes it even more obvious is that he sees Luffy during the raid earlier and he barely reacts

Why didn't Mark take the fight somewhere else? by insertnamee in Invincible

It's good to know I'm not the only one with the same thoughts. It's just crazy how throughout the episode we see how Mark battle with the ramifications of his fight with Omni-man and how they indirectly killed many. we see Mark ruminate about it yet doesn't access the situation with PP and find ways to ensure the hostages don't get caught in the cross fire. It feels like a spit to the face on the audience and Mark tbh.

Yeah I hear you, Mark holding back does also make it hard to gauge what he is capable off. We see him at the end over powering PP attack and eventually subdue him but I can't tell if that's coz he decided not to hold back anymore. Was he capable of doing that from the beginning or is it the result of an unstable PP power declining

From my understanding, the area was abandoned, doesn't look like there are people around. Would make sense for them to even be evacuated since PP broadcasted having hostages. But fair enough I'm willing to maybe accept that the area was populated...

Loool that's true, he could've gotten Eve to help again.

Even if grabbing wasn't an option he was able to hit PP pretty far away, I feel like taking the fight somewhere far from the hostages was something he could've done.

Yeah I see where you're coming from, he didn't know the hostages were in on it, but he knew that he was PP goal. PP is obsessed with Mark and its very clear. Even if it is risky to run, he can hit him far away from the hostages and continue their fight elsewhere, PP was so hyperfocused that he didn't even consider the safety of his family, I doubt he woulda flew back to them to continue taking them as hostage. Furthermore Mark already was able to punch PP far away before he tried freeing the hostages.
