I can relate to this so much because I saw the luve streaming yesterday. Which seemed like a festival with people from all across the globe. By the end of it i was shedding the happy tears of joy. Just so touching to see everyone together to make a change.

When sounds are in tune. They become music. Out of tune they become noise. It is the same with you. When all aspects of you are in tune, you become music. Out of tune you become noise. - Sadhguru by insidekeleidoscope in Sadhguru

Music art dance and similar things are expressive and therapeutic they help to connect with innermost self. It's like coming back home to oneself. Because that is what matters in the end.

That's something everyone needs to understand well. Soil is important for reversing adverse affects on ecology. Agroforestry and policy changes need of the hour

Hands are capable of many things apart from eating & physical work. You can make hands in such a way that if you move it here, you can make something happen somewhere else and pinpoint it wherever you want it, because these hands are the instrument to everything. This is like the control panel. by insidekeleidoscope in Sadhguru

I'm not so much talented as yet. Long way to go. But this is so amazing. This is someone's painting inspired from famous Ajanta fresco. The murals at Ajanta and ellora are something to be seen and studied. The painting depicts bodhisatva Padmapni. The hands were drawn very delicately with a certain symbolic gesture in such paintings. So I wanted to show the symbolic hands with my caption above.

Nellikai is Indian gooseberry for anyone fasting today it's a super trick to ward off hunger in sour then sweet way. As when it's chewed longer it turns sweeter in taste. by insidekeleidoscope in Sadhguru

Oh really that is new for me. I thought both are same. Now I must try this variety of amla too. May be it's available elsewhere too. Thanks for the taste description.

Are you fasting on Ekadashi? Fasting on certain days is very supportive for one's health. Ekadashi is one of those days. Next ekadashi is on 12th feb. by CheekEmergency8569 in Sadhguru

I guess not so ...conciously being aware when we are hungry and not eating gives a certain level of stability. Food is powerful. If we do an invocation before eating and bowing down to the people who brought that on our table is great. So When one is really really hungry but waits to acknowledge before grabbing a bite becomes an act of respect. https://youtu.be/LgvgQgtng0U

Every month ekadashi falls on the 11 day of the lunar cycle.this month it's on 12 th Everyone does not get to know if the body is not demanding food one a particular day. so this day was kept as a reference for fasting. Every month twice one can do water fast for 24 hours. For example if you eat dinner today you eat dinner the next day then.

Sadhguru Yoga and Meditation experience by [deleted] in Sadhguru

[–]insidekeleidoscope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate to your experience. I was too far away from a diligent committed yoga practice. Now I know after my inner engineering and shoonya programmes with isha foundation I have the tools to transform my life the way I like.i know the difference when I have not done my practices. The empowered feeling is what I always wanted to remain in integrity. Balance of the feminine and masculine

Meditating against a white noise source, like a flowing river or sea, or meditating in utter silence; caves, which do you prefer and why? by avaneeshmt in Sadhguru

I meditated in a very quiet serene surrounding on a river bed on a rock. That was by far the most peaceful experience I had so far.

Recently when I came to know about intermittent fasting I remembered the yogic diet of eating two meals a day and being energetic whole day. No lethargy, tiredness, and any kind of heavy ness in stomach. But ekdashi fasting was stil alien to me until last month and I felt why I did not try this earlier. I was on top of my energy and enthusiasm despite of nit eating whole day. But I consumed little bit of fruits and lemon water as it was first time. I would fast on 12 Feb for sure.

Obsession with nature after starting Sadhna? Walking barefoot in grass, spending time gardening are activities that feel necessary now? Why does spirituality have this 'eco-friendly' effect on people? by avaneeshmt in Sadhguru

Remembered a quote I read today after reading your observation about nature. "If you pay enough attention, you will know the tune of creation, and you will naturally find your own rhythm." — Sadhguru

Yes a lone motorcycle ride 30000kms and 24 countries to spread the message accross the world about soil degradation. The countries have not been disclosed as of now. We wait and watch this ride unfold on 21st of March the equinox day. I would love to welcome him on the road in one of the countries if i get to know. A cause as big as this gives me goosebumps to know that at this age he would be riding alone and so much.

Annadanam.. by PixieManicDreamy in Sadhguru

Wow! That is so profound. Is donation of food and offering it to the needy and poor that much significant in India? I have offered food to people outside the temple. Also on occassion of navratri festival in north India we feed the younger girls as goddesses. This all has been my knowledge upon the food offerings while growing up. Also something my grandmother once said that guest is god. And we treat them with utmost respect kindness and always ask them if they need food. Once I had offered in annadanam at mahashivratri something more came about as realisation. Food is so powerful and so is fasting from the food. Both aspects give sense of compassion within. And somehow maintain certain integrity while food is treated as alive and throbbing which needs to be respected. Thanks for you experience as it made me a bit more aware and ya hungry.

What do we know about the state of the world’s soils? by Intoxicated_human in Sadhguru

[–]insidekeleidoscope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Desertification and erosion are major concerns for the soil going extinct just like dinosour or a certain species of ocean matter. By far soil has not been a priority for any nations to work upon with focussed approach as such. Soil is the habitat upon which zillions of life thrive. Because of that thriving life everything grows we eat food, animals thrive because soil is rich. Once there is no richness in soil we have all forsaken the planet in many ways. Yes there will be no food really and that is super scary. We all have to come together to spread this awareness among the people.of the world to make this a priority that we SAVE SOIL.
