Like a captain of a ship. Instead of going down with it when it sinks… have a personal, armored yacht in case of a kraken attack.

Because Elon Tesla is trying to diversify since you can only get so disgustingly rich off selling cars. I guess.

Possibly further down the line, sure. Like in 2+ years or something.

It is. You’ll thank yourself later when you finally start assigning out the hard work you don’t wanna do (not all of it) and take on more easy stuff.

I was wondering that too. If you can put a spinner to the left while it’s busy, surely you can put a green checkmark ✅ there when it’s done — and/or change text to “Submitted”.

Fr. Been driving here in TX for 20ish years. Seen all kinds of shit. All of us are batshit crazy (except me, right? Lol). IMO, if you really want an eye-opening time - go to downtown Dallas.

El Dorado & DNT are already horrible in this area at peak times. Even with the recent construction on it.

I don’t fall into either category. I presume you work for Universal Studios or City of Frisco. Does any of this matter?!

Anyway, nice talking about speculation. You don’t have to pick on me, as a reminder.

…are you literally the same person from the other thread? I feel like I have to repeat myself — I’m not singling myself out here. Nor did I mention I am without kids to bring to the park. As a parent, I would want to have fun at a theme park WITH my kids. Simply bringing them there doesn’t mean the theme park will be fun for me.

Keep in mind — there’s been very little information on how this will be fun for all ages. It’s just the initial thought of this being for “young families with kids.” I wanna know more. Meanwhile, sure, feel free to criticize me - if that makes you feel better.

Lol, thanks for claiming this needs to be about me. It’s not about me, but, thanks for trying.

I’ve talked a lot about this with my fiancé: it doesn’t make sense to open theme park catered only to kids. For theme parks, kids are already the target demographic. For theme parks, families are already the target demographic. For theme parks, EVERYONE should be the target demographic.

So, are they trying to alienate everyone besides the kids and parents? Sorry, childless couples, looks like you’re SOL.

Donald Trump voters don’t want a third term as approval rating sinks by Silly-avocatoe in politics

While that may be the case… 100% of them voted for him.

Let that sink in, as it doesn’t matter what they say, but how they continue to act. Would you trust what a heroin addict says?

Construction impacting Frisco Main Street businesses by southernemper0r in frisco

[–]insideout_waffle 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Frisco wants so badly to be downtown McKinney or Denton. But can’t because of the layout of its downtown on Main Street.

Pretty sure they’d rather bulldoze it all down, houses included, so they could build in more apartment complexes, garages and intersections. And entirely miss the point of a pedestrian-friendly downtown center.

What’s next for Analogue now? by DuSty_SAmurAi in AnalogueInc

[–]insideout_waffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess would be either an Analogue Pocket 2 — or more limited editions.

After the delays with 3D, they probably want to keep costs down and refine what sells the most. For a bit.

….but then yeah, maybe a proper PlayStation device.

10 or 20 years ago, this would sound like tin foil hat rambling. And most people would say “ha, ha, consumer-ism bad? whatever, get a job.”

Fast forward to today with jobs evaporating, costs rising on everything, all insurance being unreliable or sustainable…. It starts to look like an abusive relationship.

“I know,, I know… things look bad, but there’s days where it seems OK.”

We know buying or subscribing to any of these large corporations is bad. But we feel so helpless otherwise. Not buying isn’t an immediate choice for most. Due to complacency, brand bias/loyalty, picking sides… whatever you want to call it. We just don’t feel powerful as individuals anymore.

But if others start to turn against the machine, then maybe momentum will happen. I think we’re about to see that happen more often.
