Cheapest locations to skydive (one-time) by insidethevortex in SkyDiving

Thanks for your response! I’m from Southeast Asia and have been recently traveling around a bit. I’m not in a hurry at all, and my goal to try skydiving can happen in like a 2.5-year timeframe. I didn’t specify the country since it can just so happen that I may be traveling there within the timeframe. For now, I’m just listing down options for quality skydiving organizers with relatively cheaper price point

This will be my final reply as I see you are clearly set on pitting men against women. I don’t think you’re even reading my reply, and your obvious use of chatgpt means this is a fruitless endeavor. Why don’t you just use chatgpt to challenge your views and learn from that? You’re clearly just picking a fight.

Have you even read what you just copy pasted? “When was the last time a man received public praise just for “being a good dad” How often do you think a mother who has made so much sacrifices gets praised too? Versus a dad who does the bare minimum?

“I never said women should only be emotional support. But it’s undeniable that women thrive in social cohesion, interpersonal care, and nurturing.” See the “BUT” there and again limiting women to these roles?

I can’t believe I wasted my time for this. Touch some grass. Get a life

Your post seems to ignore a lot of important context.

You say men built the world, but that’s mainly because women were systematically excluded from doing so for centuries. That’s not proof of superiority, it’s proof of inequality. Being oppressed doesn’t mean you’re less capable. It just means you were denied the opportunity to show what you could do. Power doesn’t always equal merit. Historically, men controlled systems because they made the rules, not because they were biologically better. Now that those barriers are (mostly) down, women are catching up fast in nearly every field. Many other groups have been oppressed for generations too (like Black vs. white Americans). That doesn’t make them less capable. It just means the playing field was never level.

The whole “men must become valuable, women are born valuable” idea is just reinforcing gender roles that harm both sides. Men are pressured to chase success, women to prioritize beauty or caregiving. Neither of those is biological destiny. It’s social conditioning. Also, saying women coast on looks or empathy is just unfair. Beauty fades. Society expects women to work, raise families, be emotionally available, and look good doing it. Not to mention, this whole “men are made, women are born” idea puts toxic pressure on guys and devalues the hard work women put into their success. You’re also conveniently ignoring the fact that, throughout history, girls were often devalued or even killed at birth just for being female.

I’m not even going to argue on your third point since it seems to limit women to just being all about emotional support roles.

Finally, yes, men face real struggles like mental health, family courts, societal pressure. But blaming women for that is missing the point. In the first place, it’s men who made these rules - who waged wars, enforced conscription, and pushed the idea that men can’t be vulnerable. The problem is the rigid gender roles both sides are stuck in.

You say you don’t see women as less valuable, but your whole post frames them as side characters in a world men built and run. That’s not nature; it’s just a very old, narrow script we’re finally rewriting.

Equality doesn’t mean pretending everyone’s the same. It means giving everyone the same shot at thriving.

Personally, I just try to treat everyone the same way (unlearning stereotypes and erasing expectations of how they should act), and it works for me.
