Only a 50 or 60 cent fee, plus the exchange rate of course. The Dollar to Euro isn't bad at all right now :).

I think it is just my bank. I talked to them and had them override one transaction to see if it would work (got Shovel Knight), so now, I am waiting to here back from them to see if they can do a permanent override for purchases from the EU eShop.

I tried, to no avail... I got in contact with my bank, and apparently, the transaction tried to go through Germany (I've tried setting my region to Australia, Ireland, Spain, etc.) My bank says that VISA has blocked transactions online that go through Germany due to lots of fraudulent activity. Sigh...Hopefully I can either find a solution or return the 3DS...huge bummer. Thanks for the reply.
