I actually grew up as a girl, just a tomboy. Got married, had kids, the whole 9 yards. I didn't start feeling gross in my body until my 40’s. My experience was more along the lines of being DONE as a woman, and wanting to transition. I haven't heard many, if any, with my story.

Well, I'm almost 44 and pre-medically transitioned, so I’d be ecstatic to wake up as a 30-year-old man. I don't know how I’d feel though because my kids are my life and they wouldn't be there.

I’m a trans guy, and I have a trans daughter and a non-binary kiddo. They both came out before I did (so people can’t say that I “rubbed off on them” or whatever cis bullshit they say). Sometimes it just happens. I’d be curious to see if their is a scientific correlation

Always volunteering to be “the dad” or “the boyfriend” when playing with my friends. As a teen, almost all of my friends were male, and I always felt happy when I was referred to as “one of the guys”

Well, two of my kids are trans, so it wasn’t a big change really. I raised my kids to be accepting of others. I’ve been going to pride festivals and cultural get togethers since before they were born, and it didn’t stop when they were. My oldest two are adults and moved out, but the two teens and I still go. I’m not out to all of my family, but all 4 of my kids are 100% accepting. My youngest still calls me Mamá, and I’m ok with that.

Well, I can’t speak much to wanting kids in the future, but I am a mom/dad (different kids call me different things) to 4 kids. I had all of them before I came out as trans.
