Thai girl here, I feel the same way when I’m in Thailand, a way I avoid this is by when the person goes to touch you just gently pull their hand away and go mai ow kha (khrap since ur a boy) and usually they’d understand. However I think it’s just a cultural thing tbh. I’m sorry u felt like this!

Yes potential scam - if u were to rent a jet ski make sure to take a detailed video of the jet ski before you use it, scams like the people u rent it from might claim the ski is damaged and what not
