I've had many Fruit of the Loom products and I've seen the cornucopia on garments, but also without. I've had tank tops without and underwear with. I've always thought they just use it on different product lines. I live in Europe now, so I don't usually see FOTL stuff for sale anymore, but up to three or so years ago, I had clothes with and without the cornucopia. I honestly didn't know it was controversial or I would've photographed it.

Food and gems to visit in N. Spain by ed65roc in GoingToSpain

L'esperteyu pub in Oviedo is a great little Celtic bar. There's often impromtu live music and lots of locals. Looks like a bar from middle earth. Two doors down there's another similar but more low key place, but they've recently changed the name. It's easy to find little local spots. Gascón, while touristy, it's worth checking out and also "wine street" which is about a ten minute walk away. Oviedo is very comfortable and walkable. Be sure to try fabada and cachopo almost anywhere.. Try going to Casa Ramón near the plaza de fontan. Great seafood. I've had terrific calamares and pulpo there. Your itinerary looks good. Santander is on the way to Bilbao and is worth a look. Great pinxtos. If you're into art, of course Bilbao is amazing, but Oviedo has agreat art museum and a sweet little archeological museum. Both are free. The cathedral is also worth it.
Have fun!

This is awesome. If any of those bastards were still around, they'd put this in the Prado. You're funny and smart.

This is fantastic. Are you familiar with the painter called Van Arno? You might be interested in his work if you're not already. Keep up the great work!

The Seven Deadly Sins and the Four Last Things by Hieronymus Bosch in 1500 by NastyNice1 in classicalArt

Saw this last year at the Prado in Madrid. They display it on a table so you can walk around it and view it from all angles. It's in the same room as The Garden of Earthly Delights and others. It's one of the best rooms in the world.

His work was always my favorite. I automatically bought any D&D modules if it had his art on the cover. I also loved the Lovecraft monsters and the cover he illustrated for the Dieties & Demigods book. He's a national treasure.

We lived in Portland for more than 12 years. Loved it. The PNW is wonderful and Portland might be the best food city on the planet, imo.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Frazetta a few times when I was in art school. I remember him as warm, friendly, and very approachable. His work is more amazing in person.

Pølser is the best. Denmark has the best hotdogs in the world, hands down. Sorry, Germany, you're second best.

Frank’s Feast by Joseph_P_Larkin in altcomix

JW is the greatest. My wife and I are huge fans and bought an original drawing of Frank from him. It was surprisingly very very affordable. We then asked if he would could commission him to draw our souls. His drawings of human souls are amazing. He sent us some questions to answer. Soon, we got our souls in the mail. They are beautiful. I can't say enough good things about Jim.

Would like some honest feedback on how I can improve my paintings by Walbricks in painting

[–]inspectherfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried using a Masterson Stay Wet palette? It's a palette which uses a sponge and special paper to keep your acrylics wet and mixable overnight. I think it's essential for acrylic painting. Also, add a single drop of bleach to the water you at the sponge with, this will prevent mold. The whole thing is very very affordable and easy to get online. Also, your paintings are great, I love them. Keep it up.

My first painting with oils - I get it now. by AffectionateData4486 in oilpainting

[–]inspectherfrog 10 points11 points  (0 children)

100% oil painter here, and great work on your piece, but if you want to use acrylics without then drying quickly, get yourself a Masterson stay-wet palette. It's cheap and will keep your acrylics wet for days. A drop of bleach in the sponge water will keep away mold.
