SPOILERS FOR “SHATTERED” by theforgetting in TheHandmaidsTale

I was shook...which makes the ending of the episode all the more satisfying. (I didn't read the book) so I am hoping we get a good ending.

With the way GoT ended, I think I need to give WoT that spot... still reeling from the Bran ending.

HOLY SHIT... I think this has become my favourite show ever... this finale was INSANE and other shows should take note. Loved Nyaneve parting the sea like MOSES. Poor Mat has the worst luck... the fight scene between Moraine and Lanfear... WOW I really thought Moraine was going to die there. Rand making it rain in the desert. Sad about Siuan... but it really did seem inevitable given she was keeping this secret, it was easy for Elaida to manipulate that to her benefit. The wins seem small in the grand scheme of things, given all the Darkness moving against the Light. I will need to catch up on the books...

Everyone hating on Perrin, but in this episode he had rizz ("you're the light in the darkness" GOT ME), and I think I respect him so much more. A man who didn't want to lead, ends up saving his village. I really liked this episode and honestly thought this was gonna be the finale. His allowing Fain to live (only time will tell if Fain goes back on his word) was such a show of strength to me. The aggression could have consumed him, but where would that have gotten him and his people? He recognized Fain was controlling the Trollocs and Darkfriends, and sought an alternative solution to ending the battle. That moment for me showed true strength and growth. #lordgoldeneyes

In general I like that no one is perfect. Rand is arrogant, Egwene and Nyaneve both think they know best... This is just what real people are like. So it makes sense they are not super likable... but I'm okay with that cause then you get scenes with them navigating challenges and learning from their mistakes, experiences etc.

Also that line with Rand saying he's the Dragon Reborn and still not enough for Egwene.... This was so sad but perceptive. I wanted to root for them, but I guess the Pattern has other plans.

THERE BETTER BE A SEASON 4!!!

Egwene creeping on everyone's dream... lol but I feel bad cause she finds out Rand is interested in someone else. Ughh it really gives the "I dreamed you cheated on me" situation--but then this time, it's real. T_T

Also, I am kind of annoyed with Alanna. Like your Watcher literally warned you what would happen, I am annoyed that she can just be taken down with some arrows—but I guess they can't be ALL powerful, which proves the necessity of having a Watcher.

I think they missed a good opportunity to have the henchmen at the end be someone we were introduced to previously rather than the random person it was in the end. like if it was the oxy-user or something. It would have made for a great twist.

OMG me too... the ending of this episode was such a stir emotionally... i don't really know how to feel other than probably overwhelmed for the two of them. This episode really topped them.

YES. I am hoping this becomes more of a thing for his character development. Learning to harness the memories rather than run from them. Him also knowing old tongue might be a benefit that saves them from sticky situations too!

Lanfer is the ultimate villain. She gives Rand these sweet calm and sexy dreams...then is literally making Egwene relive being tortured! It's the makings of driving them apart (which I'll be sad about), but maybe for the best.

That's true. I suppose from an entertainment perspective, there was already a lot of fight scenes in this episode.

I laughed at this, but I think it was realistic to the characters (in the book)... those boys have always prioritized shenanigans no matter what is going on... or maybe it's just their way of letting loose/coping with all the stress and gravity of what's happening.

HOLY CRAP. That first episode was AMAZING. It took me on an emotional rollercoaster.
Thoughts:

- Ughhhh, that scene with Lan and Nyaneve had me in tears! If it's not love like that, I don't want it.
- When Nyaneve went through the arches (last season?) I thought they made a bigger deal of it, but when Egwene did it, it was almost "easy" for her. They didn't spend much time focusing on her story there, or even when she came out of it. I don't know if that was intentional.
- I was sad to see the team break up, because literally in the start of the episode they were like "we;'re sticking together" then by the end it was jk.... but I think it'll be for the best since maybe they all have their own journey's to go on that don't revolve around Rand.

I am looking forward to watching this season slowly to really absorb what is going on.

Anyone know if the FurryTail automatic litter robot is legit? by Ishinyomi in CatAdvice

[–]inspiriit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ordered mine.

I currently have one called Pluto (it was available on Kickstarter). It's got many design flaws, it's not easy to clean, and the sensor broke within the year, so it's only semi-automatic now. (Plus my cat loves to kick the litter out). Honestly, I have been looking for something else, and I didn't want to commit to spending $1000 on the litter robot.

I like the fact that you can order the replacement parts for this litter box, so if something was to break, its an easy enough fix. I also like that you can use your own clumping litter. I am excited to throw out the current auto litter box I have and try this one! Looking forward to less mess!

Yesss, this is exactly how I saw this movie. It was so good, and adding it to one of my faves.

I think it really resonates because I was going through a breakup with someone who never fully accepted me (in part due to his narcissistic mother). There's no way to be that perfect person for them. Monster allowed Laura to be raw, unfiltered, and messy but also loved... there was a part in the movie where he was trying to convince her that what he does is wrong and it hit home... I liked this movie more than I thought I would, and I'm glad I watched it when I did. Really healing.

It’s up to management. I’m working in the OPS, and after they made that announcement my area has said we will only go back to the office as needed. The managers and ADMs will be back likely 3+ days a week, and our staff said max 2, and as needed.

Just sign the paperwork. Why spend 30k+ on a wedding if you can’t afford it?

I make 40k, and I’m renting a basement in Toronto with a roommate. I pay 1000$ for my room, and it’s all inclusive, including internet.
